Charming Hideaway in Edinburgh City Centre

Location was excellent. Very close to Edinburgh centre. Bus stop near the flat. The flat has everything you need. There is a supermarket near the property.

The flat is very small. The bathroom is located at the corner of the bedroom and the shower cubicle is really uncomfortable. There is not place to put a bottle of shampoo or soap but the floor. And difficult to bend as the space is very narrow. The shower head keeps falling projecting the water to the wall and it does not move up or down easily.

The flat was prefectly equipped & incredibly well located. My only possible beef was with the omission of Lannan Bakery in the flat's guidebook of suggested nearby restaurants and attractions (though I should probably be grateful that the host isn't directing more people a 10 minute walk to this legendary spot. And yes, it is absolutely, positively worth the wait in Lannan's ever-present queue.) The beds were extra comfy. The windows in each room let in wonderful ambient light, and their shutters knocked out both street lights and traffic noises for quiet sleeping. The rental agents were extremely responsive to our questions. We can't say enough good things about this Stockbridge gem!

Good location, walking distance to everything around new and old town

TV message on screen said weak or no signal check the aerial cable. Therefore impossible to discover available programmes. Drain was smelling. No hot water from the taps.
