Mary the person that's looking after the property was very delightful. The location was excellent within only a few minute walking distance from a shops, takeaways and pubs. Lovely, clean and spacious house as well, already set up for the stay.

We enjoyed a brilliant weekend staying in this 2 bedroom house and would highly recommend it for a quiet weekend away in a beautiful little town. Mary was there to greet us on arrival and show us around the house, how to use heating and hot water etc.
The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you would need, including plenty of towels, pillows, full kitchen and even a few books and decks of cards. The house is about 3mins from the bus stop at portaferry Square, and on the same street as the Eurospar, Captain Jack's bistro (highly recommended) and other bars and a Chinese.
The town is small so all the great pubs are only a short walk away as is the aquarium and shore and ferry.
The price for this house is very competitive and I would not hesitate to book again, we even stayed the extra night last minute and it was no hassle at all.

Cosy and comfortable, with all mod-cons. Warm. Convenient for Portaferry and Strangford, and a good base for further sightseeing.
