Loved the location and the wee place was so cute abs just what we were expecting. Hosts super friendly and added bonus of lots of friendly farm animals for company.
Property was great just a few little things would have escalated from a 9/10 to a 10/10. The weather wasn’t great but we were lucky Kerry had fixed a tent structure behind the outdoor seating to shelter us from the rain. Unfortunately we had to clean all the dog hairs off the outdoor sofa and the wet weather meant some dirt was being trodden into the property…not a big deal but a good indoor mat would have helped. Facilities all great and we appreciated the outdoor firepit and indoor wood burner, as well as the bath salts for the outdoor hot tub. A sharp knife, an ice tray, some highball glasses and some kitchen roll were all that was missing from kitchen. Loved and appreciated the little treats Kerry left and the pizza was particularly gorgeous. Would thoroughly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Kerry was a delight and took so much pride and interest in constantly upgrading the properties at Ballyward. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Super Empfang und Gastfreundschaft durch Kerry, alles war da, es gab Prosecco, Eier, frisches Sauerteigbrot, Oliven und Dips zur Begrüßung - das hat als Abendessen gereicht. Kleines Häuschen neben dem Haus von Kerry. Esel, Ziegen, Hühner und vieles mehr dabei - großartig zur Entspannung. Dazu noch ein Whirlpool außen - perfekt.
Betten sehr bequem, alles, da, auch die sehr kleine Küche super ausgestattet.

Hospitality was great, loads of animals and nature great place to be, big bath tub was a bonus and a stone throw away from Portaferry, the hosts kerry and Darren where great always making sure you had what you needed, kerry makes pizzas that are great! Definitely a must try !

We had the best stay! The animals, the people, the location and amenities- everything was perfect. Our 3 year old still talks about 'the holiday house with the chickens' a month after our stay. We can't wait to come back
