Good location, comfortable

Location was convenient, walking distance to town, bus stops and train station. Love the heated floors. Quite a small room for three with sofa bed rolled out.

Breakfast was the same everyday, would be nice to have some slight changes for people staying for longer. Rooms were cleaned only after three days.

Is the hotel nice - yes. Would I stay there again - most likely no.

Location. State of the facilities. Quite new, modern. Great view from our room.

Too expensive for what you get. Room is on a small side. No hair conditioner. Even though the toiletries are “Rituals” for that level you would expect to have shampoo and shower gel as 2 separate items and hair conditioner is a must. On top of that you need to pay extra 30 eur every time if you want your room to be cleaned… Breakfast is pretty poor. And while the breakfast is supposed to be until 10:30 if you come at 10:10 the staff has already removed most of the food and they will be looking at you like you are an idiot who came late. But maybe it’s normal for Austria of a specialty of ski resorts…

Fantastic spot

Amazing buffet breakfast, rooms immaculate and pool and sauna was fantastic. The rooms were a great size and we we got upgraded on arrival. Highly recommend as the staff were all wonderful as well.

LOVELY TRIP OF ZELL AM SEE , ENJOY EACH MOMENT

Property in new and modern design, good staff, location near to zell am see lake, walking distance railway station and main market, Several Turkish and Arabic restaurant in market. They provide the Kaprun Card which is useful to visit some attractions in Kaprun region. we went to several cable cars, fairies and attraction using Kaprun guest card without spending single penny, really enjoy the zell am see trip, Breakfast is excellent to start the day. coffee machine is 24x7 free of charge, I enjoy sitting in room beautiful balcony. There is no AC, on our request they provide us table fan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.

you have to pay if you need your room to be clean, also parking is paid in hotel garage.

Hotel is very modern, stylish, good location, cosy rooms, comfy beds, excellent breakfast.

The place is fabulous if only can get longer check in hours but probably that is happening during the season. Otherwise would love to come again.

The location of this place is very good. Very close to the Zell Lake. I felt rooms were little small but they were comfortable. They provide the Kaprun Card which is useful to visit some attractions in Kaprun region. Overall this was a good stay.

Excellent stay! highly recommended for families!

Excellent location. Right besides the lake and very near to City Center. Proximity to main bus stop and Train Station. Great hotels and cafes around. Had a temperature controlled in door pool and sauna which was a great plus! very reasonably priced and well connected. Staff in very nice and helpful. Had one of the best stays in Austria. Also they provide Summer Card which covers local transport as well as all main attractions for no extra cost. Very good for budget travellers. Covered our entire trip to Kitzsteinhorn Glacier!!

Highly recommend The Gast House and there is so much to see and do in Zell am See.

Excellent location as only a short walk to the centre and close to bus stops. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety and constantly being refreshed. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Great that you could help yourself to complimentary hot drinks throughout the day. The swimming pool and spa area was small but clean and enough there for a quick relax at the end of the day.

Brilliant stay, loved the hotel

We were upgraded to a bigger room on arrival which was really lovely. The hotel is in a quiet area of town but only 5 mins walk to the centre, main bus terminal and one of the cable cars. 10 mins to train station. Spotlessly clean and we knew and liked the fact that rooms were not cleaned daily. Breakfast was great, every choice you could think of from cereals, fruit, yoghurt, breads, cheeses and cooked. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely return. Despite it being 30+c we found the rooms fine as long as we kept curtains and doors shut in the day.

Great hotel and location.

Beautiful hotel, incredibly modern and comfortable. Communal bar area inside and out for relaxing and the breakfast was very good. Location is great a short walk to the Lake and old town. Parking very easy and reasonably priced. Pool and spa a real bonus. The Summer card is outstanding value you get with a summer booking. We used the trains, bus, boy and cable cars and it’s such great value.

Rooms are not air conditioned which made it a bit warm in summer but manageable.

The crew was amazing all of them, the ladies and the guys both were great. They are so friendly and helpful also you see the smile on their faces each time which is amazing. Also the upgrades was something very nice and kind. I like this hotel a lot and I’ll keep considering it every time.

A very pleasant holiday in stunning surroundings.

Breakfast had a good selection. Location was good for transport, walking to the lake, and beyond, and in easy reach of restaurants.

Late Ski trip in Zell Am See

Space apartments with good facilities within the apartment. Not far from center and I really liked balconies in this hotel. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good also.

Friendly check in, and lovely, large room. We enjoyed the "honesty bar" and freedom to bring a few beers up to the room. The room was large and perfect for traveling friends. Great breakfast and nice, airy garden courtyard to eat in.

Terrible interaction with staff set up the mood for our stay - never again

The worse possible interaction with the receptionist (Nikoleta) set up our trip on a terrible mood. This lovely lady was one step away from telling to my face that i am lying about the age of our son (which she did over the phone to her colleague) and kept on lecturing me about how i booked the wrong room. The accusation of lying i can’t get over (easily checked if she would have asked for the child’s passport). As for the “wrong” room booked, I am willing to listen if i made a mistake, but there are friendlier ways to bring the problem to my attention, instead of asking me a million times Why, Why? A bit more training for staff is absolutely in order. Simply awful interaction, which just overrides the fact that the rooms are ok.

Beautiful brand new family friendly hotel in 10 minutes walk from the City Express lift.

Very comfortable beds and nice pillows. Foor heating is a big bonus. Mini kitchen with a fridge is very useful. Everything brand new. Swimming pool, relaxation zone and sauna are amazing! Some snack and water in Spa area is very much appriciated. Family friendly hotel with a very good customer service and tasty hot breakfast. Free coffe from coffe machine on the side 24/7 is a great idea. Honesty bar-super convenient.

Maybe can be a bit hot in the room and if you open the window it can be noize from passing by trains. Also, it would be great to have a dinner in the hotel.

the property is new, very clean and cozy. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the best thing is the bathroom has Shattaf bidet spray. location is close to center of Zell am see, and they provided the summer card.

Underrated place - everything was perfect, highly recommend !

Awesome "hotel style" apartments in Zell Am See center. We walked to lift only around 10 mins in ski boots. Breakfast was really good - big choice of everything. I was happy every morning! Staff is very nice. I was worried about room size as I booked only standard one. It was big enough for 2 person.. not small at all, nice bathroom, great amenities and spotless clean. Also loved the pool and saunas! I think this place is actually underrated in reviews by some picky guest, really nice place to stay in Zell Am See. Higly recommend!!!

Sauna was closed at 20:00, usual closing hours is 22:00 in winter time everywhere. No notification was sent earlier than any of the services are time limited and can be affected by their closing time, non reception time. I had made my choice on this accommodation place based on the Sauna option.

The apartment was very clean and beautiful . We were very happy for a balcony. also the lake and centrum is very closed to the hotel. The swimming pool is absolutely an amazing with rest zone. The stuff was very polite.

lovely breakfast.pleanty of food choice. The receptionist gabriel was a fantastic help on reception. Lovely relaxing sauna area, pool a little smaller than expected but this new hotel is lovely..

The size of the room was absolutely ridculous with two large adults and baggage we could barely fit. Absolutley no hanging space as the ironing board in the room. the bathroom door opened onto the bed. really bad design for function. More style than substance.

Deserves another visit for sure.

Everything was amazing, the hotel, design, room was super comfortable and large. The location is absolutely amazing, overall stay were great and absolutely would come back again.

Only tiny issues with the reception, although I never faced a problem personally, but I was in the lobby several times, and they treated some people who have some problems to speak in English without proper attitude. Most visitors are, English is not their native tongue so they should understand that, and be patience with them, patience issues with receptionists that made visitors uncomfortable.
