Akrotiri Beach Resort & Spa - Adult Friendly

Akrotiri Beach Resort and Spa is a wonderful hotel. It is built on a cliff, so the views in every direction are absolutely stunning. The room we had was spacious, with a nice balcony and amazing views. The bed was comfortable, there was good wardrobe space for clothes, the shower was good with decent water pressure, and the air conditioning worked well. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hotel also has a decent gym. I did not use the spa, so I cannot comment on that. The outdoor pool area was very nice, and we were always able to get sun loungers, even though it often seemed quite busy. The hotel has a great rule that you cannot reserve sun loungers, and if a lounger is left unused for half an hour, the towel is removed. This is excellent, as it means guests actually have a fair chance of getting a lounger. You can order food and drinks by the pool, and the prices were very reasonable. On the same side of the hotel as the pool, there is a rocky beach where you can go down a steep staircase all the way to the sea. The water there was incredibly clear, and it was amazing to swim and see different kinds of fish. On the other side of the hotel, there is another area with sun loungers and a hotel bar, with access down to a beautiful public beach. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and very friendly, whether in the lobby, by the pool, at breakfast, or the housekeeping team. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and high-quality options. We also had dinner one evening at the à la carte restaurant and were very happy with the food. If I come back to Corfu, I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again. It is very charming, and we felt really comfortable there.

I really liked the hotel, so there was very little to dislike. If I had to mention one thing that could be improved, it would be the labelling of the food at breakfast. For example, it would be very helpful if the hotel clearly marked which items contain lactose, which are low lactose, and which contain common allergens. For guests with food intolerances or allergies, it is much better to be able to see this clearly labelled rather than having to ask staff and rely on their memory.

I just loved my stay here. I was here for my birthday and it was such a good day. They surprised me with sweet treats during breakfast on my birthday. The access to the rocky and sandy beaches was the best part. If you want a relaxing vacation this is the place to stay. The pool, the sunbeds everything was spectacular. I even got a massage which was spectacular 💕 and the lady was very kind and nice.

Room with balcony provided a good view of beach. Good breakfast plenty of variety on offer however no barrister coffee on offer

Room had a smell in the afternoons had to sleep with sliding doors open.
