Ipsos Di Mare

My wife and I stayed at Ipsos di Mare for 8 nights in September/October. Ten steps to the beach and a magnificent view from our balcony across the sea to Albania. It was a great little hotel with brilliant staff. The cleaner on our floor was very professional and the reception staff were always helpful and pleasant. The owner, Argi, his family and the rest of the restaurant staff were superb. The a la carte menu was extensive ,varied and well priced. The food itself was excellent. Yes, some areas of the hotel are a little dated and as said in previous reviews, the shower is small, but these did not spoil our enjoyment in any way. This is a hotel which is great value for money.

clean hotel with welcoming staff. I really appreciate their hospitality.

Amazing location right next to the beach, with sunbeds available for free for guests. Breakfasts were exceptional. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our balcony door did not work, but after notifying the staff it was repaired as soon as possible.

The wardrobe in our room (double-bedroom with garden view) was too small. The wall there was damaged.

The room was very basic and old. We stayed there for 2 nights. The first day after checking in we turned on the AC and after 20 min it started dripping water inside the room. The flush sometimes wasn't stopping running water and sometimes there was no water at all. The staff was helpful and tried to fix things, however, for 80€ per night it's not worth it under these conditions. At that price you expect a decent room to spend your holidays in and not have issues all the time.
