Enjoyable week - a jewel in the crown of the Lake District!
This was a lovely little barn in a quiet, private and secure location. The village of Ings is ideally situated for exploring many areas of the Lake District. Host Tracey was very friendly and accessible should you have any queries. We would definitely stay there again.

Ideal for walkers - a peaceful retreat - but close to Windermere!
Lovely little cottage, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed and comfortable sitting room. Views of surrounding countryside, and sheep, lambs, hens on the owners' property. Very peaceful. Great for walkers - we did two terrific walks from the door - up the Kentmere Valley and to Bowness on Windermere. Walking distance to two great places to eat - the really interesting Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre and an excellent pub.
