Took my own breakfast
There was nothing I didn’t like
7 / 10Good·Sep 2026
Friendly welcome, clean room & shower room. Good location on our journey for one night stay. Reasonable menu choice and good food.
Bar area a bit dark and unwelcoming, but young lady on the bar very friendly
8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
Friendly couple, home made food, good quality beer lots of ale choices if that’s your bag and very quirky bar area
No tv in room and is a in a very quiet village literally only pub food outlet which many may like and is probably down to me but I did put machynleth on my search so thought it was in the town.

Good location, comfortable bed with good ensuite
Sheets had multiple stains on them, lipstick and something else. They didn’t feel particularly clean. The kettle was grubby with clumps of something stuck to the outside and the top was sticky and covered in dust.
