Exeter central stay

The location was only a 20 minute walk from exeter central station and was really close to all the shopping and food establishments. The communication with directions and how to access the property were very clear.

The entrance hall was really dirty and the apartment generally felt a tad shabby, marks and stains to the carpet, lots of grubby marks to the doors and walls. Bed was 2 singles and was rather uncomfortable, also it was freezing, we did put the electric storage heater on but took forever to heat.

Home away from Home.

I love the clean environment, and it's simplicity and modern look. Plus, stores were a few minutes away. I could buy what i needed to cook. They kitchen was adequate, plus my children hostel was 20 minutues away from me.

The heater needed to be more effective, too much instruction to get it working, and if a blender could be made available, that would be useful. Apart from these items, I am good.

Dirty and smelly

Location is very good

The place is quite dirty and smelly. No hitting, the microwave is rusted inside and dirty, the oven smokes a lot when you turn it on (too dirty inside)…

Find somewhere else!

Had a kitchen

Filthy dirty entry and stairs. The door is tatty and filthy smelly carpet covered in dust and small pieces of dirt and rubbish. Change the carpet or at least vacuum then wash!! Turned my stomach! Cup was only rinsed and the others had residue inside. The rinsed one left a circle of coffee on the cupboard. Kitchen sink not properly cleaned, food items jammed in the drain. Grubby marks on poor quality paint throughout, broken blanket storage box, broken handle on window. Very steep narrow steps we are older (86) and (70). The bathroom was very small but fine, shower worked well.

Compact cosy clean with all the basics for your stay.

Location. I was visiting my student child who lived 2 minutes from the property. Lots of appliances. Well maintained. Decent towels. Clean appliances surfaces and spotless bathroom.

The entrance was very shabby and steep communal stairs. Slight musty smell. Longer shower curtain needed and hand soap would be nice. Indication where to put recycling rubbish.

Didn't stay at the address as could not gain entry.

Unable to access the keys at the location. Tried repeatedly to call the mobile of the host - to be put to voicemail, which were not returned. Had to find alternate accommodation.

Disappointing.

Once inside the flat it is quite nicely decorated, the kitchen and bathroom are good. The overall cleanliness could be improved, though the important areas were fine.

The outside appearance is not very welcoming, the shared access stairs are dirty and smelly. Parking was a bit tricky as outside you can only park for free after 6pm, though we did manage find a paid for park car nearby for £11 for 24hrs.

Didn’t sleep unfortunately! :(

It was convenient location and easy with the lockbox.

The room above us kept us up all night from 1am until 7am with the radio on full blast and banging all night long.

Short stay in Exeter city centre

It was easy to check in and easy to walk to shops and the city centre from the accommodation

There was a lot of traffic noise, and construction noise from neighbours at 8am on a Saturday
