Location was great, with walks from the doorstep. Pubs and cafe in walking distance. Make sure you book a table in the evenings.
Had some issues with the oven. But provided feedback for the owner to check everything is working correctly

Off street parking is rare in Youlgreave so this was a bonus. Excellent location for visiting peak district. Good sized property. Warm.
Bathroom toilet doesnt refill so needs new valve. Kitchen implements need bringing upto date, some things missing and knives are blunt, no sharpener.

Access road. No coal for the fire.

On site parking. Porch to keep boots, coats etc. Beautiful walks from the front door.
Garden in desperate need of TLC. Front of porch peeling paint work and scruffy. Everything inside the cottage was very old and tired. Very small bath. Didn’t try shower after previous reviews. Didn’t feel like a holiday home more like we were staying in student accommodation. Felt impersonal
