Damsels Bower

Location and space

Lack of coat hook on shower room door. Cutlery was awful and towels had a musty smell particularly the hand towels provided in the an suite bathroom.

Lovely location, lots of character. Had everything we needed.

Uncomfortable bed,

Very cosy courtyard cottage! Great location for our visit to Chatsworth house !

Location was stunning Very nice setting in a medieval village.

Ice box door in fridge fell off in our hands, Previous occupants had left items in the ice box and it hadn’t been cleaned out. Grill pan was filthy and still had remnants of fat on it. Cushions on bed had dried on food stains on them. The small shower waste was broken and sharp so couldn’t use it in case it leaked . Towel holder in en-suite fell off the wall when towel was hung in it, think it had sheared off from its thread. Remnants of food and crumbs were left in the grooves on the table and chairs! And table mats were stained with food! Such a shame as accommodation would of been so much nicer with a bit of TLC.
