Sapumal palace

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and have their own tuk tuk for trips. The bed was comfy, the bathroom excellent with lots of hot water. Breakfast was great, with a variety of different items including hoppers, pancakes, eggs and fruit.. Only a short walk from town. You get personal attention as there is only one room at Sapumal.

The room can be quite noisy as there is not much insulation. The noise tends to be passing vehicles on the narrow roadway and local dogs barking at night. Kept our clothes in our bags as there is no storage in the room, but this wasn't a real issue for a couple of nights.

Host was nice and the hot water in the shower was very hot

Light was broken and duvet looked like it had mold on it, internet was very patchy

The wifi wasn't working and the water pressure was so weak I couldn't have a shower. I told the host and she said they were having problems for a couple days with the water. I wouldn't stay here again, sorry. The blanket also looked dirty and the room was smelling damp. Only two rooms so not a good place to meet other travellers if you're into that. Not worth the price in my opinion.

- Sehr enges Zimmer mit unpraktischer Raumaufteilung. - Muffiger Schimmelgeruch, zudem war im Badezimmer offensichtlicher Schimmel vorhanden. - Zu kurzes, unbequemes und vermutlich unhygienisches Bett. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten einzuschlafen, sind mehrmals aufgewacht und hatten unerklärlichen Juckreiz am Körper, der nicht auf Mückenstiche zurückzuführen war. - Sehr schwaches WLAN. Das Hauptlicht sowie die Steckdose neben dem Bett waren defekt. - Teilweise kein Wasser. Darauf wurden wir zwar bei der Ankunft hingewiesen, dennoch ist es ein erheblicher Mangel, wenn man nach Wanderungen nicht duschen kann.
