Excellent visit. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent location for exploring Ledbury and for proximity to Eastnor Castle for Land Rover driving experience. Cottage is charming, very well appointed and with lots of creature comforts including extras like milk in the fridge on arrival, games and drinks/nibbles. Highly recommended for a short stay. Ledbury itself is beautiful and we would love to come back to explore further. The Olive Tree restaurant was a short walk and offered excellent Italian food. The scrumpy House in Much Markle was great for lunch and a tour of the Weston’s cider brewery.

Not much! The cottage is great. The drive entrance is very narrow BUT we were warned about it and it was ok. If you have a larger car I would check widths first! We made it with the mirrors folded in. However, once in the parking is great and it felt very secure.

Little town with real soul and charm

We had an amazing stay at this lovely property! The location is ideal—just a short walk from the charming historical town and local sights, with easy access to Eastnor Castle, which was a real highlight of our trip. The house itself is beautifully decorated, full of character and comfort. It felt like a true home away from home. The host went above and beyond, even surprising us with a thoughtful little treat after our long journey—such a sweet gesture that made us feel instantly welcomed. Another big plus was the convenience. Local shops and cafés were just around the corner, and the train station was nearby, making travel super easy. The property also offers parking, which was a huge bonus. Just a heads-up: the gate leading to the rear parking area is quite narrow, so larger vehicles might need a bit of extra care when maneuvering. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. It’s the kind of spot you want to return to again and again. A perfect blend of hospitality, charm, and practicality.

Most places do tend to close early, around 4pm or 5pm, but that didn’t bother us much—we planned ahead and still had a fantastic time exploring.

the lock box was tricky to access. we struggled a bit on arrival and departure. the top part of the front door needs to be looked at as its difficult to lock and unlock.

What a lovely stay! A beautiful little cottage right in the heart of Ledbury. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and deceptively spacious.

The upstairs was incredibly hot - but I imagine anywhere would be during this current heatwave. Some fans in the bedrooms might have helped?

The location was great, in the middle of town so easy access, but it was in a quiet location down an alleyway so out the way of the hustle and bustle if you craved the peace. The town was fantastic, lots of shops and places to eat.

It didn't have an outside space to enjoy the sun, but that said we wasn't there for relaxing we stayed for a wedding and then touring/walking around the area which was beautiful.

A Gem in an idyllic town ....

Everything was exactly to our taste and perfect for our overnight stay in Ledbury. As previous residents of the area, two of us are very familiar with the town and the 3 of us would highly recommend a visit to Ledbury and a stay in Gentleman's Cottage. Well equipped, tastefully decorated. Milk provided, (what a godsend), as shops and restaurants shut very early here. The complimentary drinks were a lovely touch too. Someone who really cares about the details, runs this property.

A scary drive through the mews arch in our VW Van! Plenty of space to park once through though. We just had to pull in the wing mirrors, and we fitted! Mattresses not the most comfortable, but the place is lovely. Maybe extra mattress toppers could make the place truly perfect.

Very comfortable cottage whose owner really aspires to quality.

The hostess paid attention to every detail and was most considerate, leaving starter food and drink and equipping the cottage so you didn't need to bring anything. Her instructions were also very clear and comprehensive. The cottage itself is cosy and easy to feel at home in.

Very little storage in the main bedrooms - this meant that for a week you lived partly out of your suitcase. no bedside table in the second bedroom, or bedside light.

Absolute gem of a place

Fantastic central location. Beautiful house, really spacious and clean. The pictures don't do it justice. Great to have a parking space. Walking distance from shops, bars and cafes. One main bathroom upstairs and additional toilet downstairs. The lounge was large but cosy and great to relax in. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend!!
