It was worth the money but I didn’t feel very safe
The beds were comfortable and good location
The place was full of creepy men, people turning lights on in the middle of the night (4a.m) and having very loud conversations, flies in the toilets, not very clean.

I didn’t stay. Waisted money
I did not know that is the redline district. That’s my fault but it’s not friendly place at all. Nowhere to put bags, towel, clothing. Very dark anywhere. Anyone can come in from outside. It’s not a good standard safe place.
They didn’t reply my numerous questions before arriving. It was so dark hardly to see anything. No locker. No side lamp. Staff weren’t friendly

Good stay, value for the money!
They where kind enough to let me park my motorcycle in door which was out of the ordinary it could only fit my bike!

Great - If you don't dislike Reeperbahn
It was a great stay, better than I had expected. Soft beds with privacy curtains, friendly staff, slightly small but exceptionally clean bathroom. At the time when I stayed, the value for money was excellent. There are a lot of places to eat and shops with food and other conveniences nearby, right along the path from/to the nearest train station. The bathroom and shower area was unisex, which I thought was nice and very progressive. Do know that this hostel is located in Hamburg's very active red light district, where a lot of party venues are located, so there may be people quietly entering or leaving the room, bass from a nearby disco, or other occasional little disturbances at night, like people that can be heard outside. I don't consider this a negative point for this review, as this is Reeperbahn (that's the name of this red light district), where people specifically go for fun and an active nightlife. Personally, I had zero issue sleeping. But I also don't wake up all that easily from sounds. There was bass from outside, but I didn't think it was actually loud. 10/10 recommended stay, unless you don't like Reeperbahn.
The lockers are positioned right next to each of the beds, which is nice, but they may not be quite tall enough to fit certain backpacks entirely. I thought the shower area was very nice (modern design, free shower gel dispenser inside, unisex), but a little rack or sitting bench to put all your clothes and other items in the area before the showers would be a great addition. As of my visit, there were hooks installed on the wall: You undress, hang your clothes on the hooks that are located outside the showers on the opposite wall, and then go into one of the showers that each have their own curtain you can use. But not everything (for example glasses, jewellery, or your toothbrush) can be put on a hook. Right now, you have to plan ahead - leave things in the locker, bring a little bag to put on the hook, etc. (the floor before the showers can get wet). Additional convenient storage here would be great. These are all very minor negative points, though. The only negative thing I thought was actually noteworthy is that at night, there can be a lot of people in the bed room at once, resulting in deterioration of air quality (even though the room is big). So a potential improvement for the future could be a better air ventilation system for this room.

Tolerable for 1 night.
The hostel feels somewhat nearly built, and is overall in somewhat decent condition. Cleanliness appears to be maintained to an alright standard, with sheets changed daily.
Please trust the other reviews - everything in them is true. First, the bathrooms are in a basement and completely shared, with no locking doors and swimming pool style buttons you have to keep pressing. Additionally, the hostel does not appear to track who has what bed. On my 2nd night, I was asked at the front desk what my bed number was 'as my bed might have been given away'. After confirming it was okay, a couple hours later they seemed to have already forgotten as they yanked my curtain open with another prospective person. Additionally, the day after a lady who worked there chastised me in German for not leaving the curtains closed as otherwise they might give the bed away - despite the fact that they leave the curtains open after changing the bedding for the day! You really shouldn't have to worry about if you'll have a bed or not when you've paid ahead for 5 nights.

Pleasant
The staff were not around when I wanted to check in. The hostel is around Hamburg's red-light district, and a while away from the city centre.
