Casa del Vento - Trieste Reception

Posizione centrale; vicino alla stazione,al mare e ai locali tutto ciò a piedi... Casa graziosa,massima cortesia dell'agenzia. Consigliata,se dovessimo tornare a Trieste la riterremmo in considerazione; già provvista di tutto ciò che serve ( shampoo doccia, asciugamani,lenzuola,carta igienica, scottex, stendino,phon etc)

Il clima messo in alto nel corridoio non arrivava a raffreddare bene la camera, però cmq riusciva a portare la temperatura in una media buona... La doccia complessa da capire secondo noi...

Staying at this apartment is highly recommended! The location is fantastic! It is situated in a quiet street, yet less than a minute away from all the action, with a great selection of restaurants, fast food places, and shops. It is only a 12-13 minute walk to the main square in the center of Trieste, as well as to the train station. Right nearby (1-2 minutes away), there are numerous buses connecting you to the city beach and other locations.

The sofa bed in the living room is best suited for lighter guests due to the thickness of the mattress.

The apartment is in a residential block on a pleasant street a couple of minutes from the pedestrian Viale 20 settembre. It's on the back of the building which we did not mind as it was quiet. The photos match the actual place, the place is full of light, two doors separate the bedroom from the kitchen and living room which is useful even if there are only two people in the apartment. It was impeccably clean.

The AC is placed in a short corridor between the bedroom and the living room and this set up is not ideal for either space. They really should have found a better solution. The bedroom is large but going to one side of the bed is a little tight - not helped by an iron bedstead which ate up a precious 15 cm of space. The overlong curtains may add a touch of luxury in a house, but they are not practical in a rental; they just get in the way in the narrow space beside the bed. What was most disappointing was the lift. Contrary to the description, this fourth floor apartment is not completely accessible by lift. At the ground floor level there are about eight steps to reach the lift. In addition , to access the apartment you need to stop either on the 3rd floor or the 5th floor which means another 12 steps to walk into the apartment. This was most annoying and inconvenient. The description of the apartment is misleading and unfair to people who thought they would not need to climb stairs.
