Wonderful

Amelia has put a lot of thought into this beautiful apartment. We had everything we needed for our stay. We took our own logs and the wood burner kept us really toasty whilst it was freezing outside! Comfy beds, a good shower (over bath) and a light airy feel to the place, all made our stay amazing. The maps of local walks were a really lovely addition, thank you! And thank you for being so dog friendly 🐾

Everything, views nice, conservatory fantastic to dry dog, take off boots and coats etc, nice spacious rooms, excellent instructions on how to park/use Wi-Fi and heating etc

Apartment Superb. Weather not so good!

Nice walk into town. Spacious clean nicely decorated rooms. Lots of tourist info and maps etc. Great porch for wet boots to dry out and very useful hose for washing boots. Lovely Spring flowers on arrival. Used the local swimming pool which was well run and clean.

Location was amazing, perfect for walkers like us with dogs, peaceful and quiet also.

The only things we would have changed was to have a television in the bedroom and a bigger bed but this doesn’t take away from how much we loved it there and would definitely come back.

Love this place

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this holiday home. It’s beautifully furnished with a warm, welcoming feel and every detail has been thought through. The living room is cosy and stylish, complete with a wood-burning stove that makes evenings extra special. The house is very well equipped, so everything you need for a comfortable stay is right at hand. The location is fantastic – peaceful and scenic, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us, with some fantastic walks just on the doorstep. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Nidderdale, this is the perfect spot. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful place to be

Everything was perfect, we felt at home right away. The apartment is cosy and well equipped. Amelia kept in contact to let us know she was around if we needed anything. The house is close to the town centre where you can find everything for your daily needs and even more. It was always a nice walk with our dog down to the town. There we had super tasty fish and chips. We recommend a visit at the butcher's too. They sell absolutely the best pasties!

the bed could be a bit larger. Nothing else to mention beside the fact that we had to leave.

Beautiful flat, but sadly not ideal with a dog.

The flat is beautiful. Lovely and spacious. Kitchen quite well equipped. Living room beautifully light and comfortable

The downside was the separate garden. Not ideal because of the dog it is not secure and there is no privacy. It is not ideal having to go down a dark slope late at night to let the dog do her business before bed.

Great weekend away

A lovely peaceful, spacious, well equipped apartment. This was our second visit to this lovely place. Enjoyed the walking up the Nidderdale valley, such a quiet place to walk considering it was a Bank holiday weekend. Quieter than the Lake District.

Lovely peaceful stay, ideally located just outside town - perfect relaxing getaway

Cosy, homely, peaceful, fantastic location, walking distance to town, - everything was exceptional. Spacious rooms, big windows that let in lots of light but was also very private.

Only thing I would mention was the bed could have been a bit bigger, queen size maybe, but it’s only what we are used to. For a few nights it was ok.

What a stunning property, beautiful views and so peaceful, we loved absolute everything about it, it has everything you could need and is light, airy, tastefully decorated, it’s set back from any roads so the only noise is birdsong. We will be returning!

A great retreat which we found very comfortable and homely

Fantastic location, airy comfortable and spacious accommodation. Lovely to have a balcony and the wood burner stove. Loved the large marble board on the kitchen work surface.

We cooked meals in the property and I would have found it easier with a flat baking tray and a large Pyrex bowl. I mention it only to improve an already fantastic property and stay.

A great and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

We loved the location, within walking distance of the town. The apartment was lovely and spacious with great view out over the area. It was useful having the conservatory to change shoes in and wipe the dog’s paws before entering the property.

A few more utensils in the kitchen, such as tongues for cooking would be useful.

Great location in beautiful Nidderdale within walking distance of shops and cafes, and driving distance of countless worthwhile attractions. Excellent communication throughout from Quentin who let us check out late to accommodate our attendance at a funeral on our last day. Thank you. Lovely accommodation in a peaceful location.

A good place to stay near Pateley Bridge.

It had a bath with a shower. There was good storage room for clothes. It had a dishwasher and the fridge had an ice-box. There were several throws in the living room. There were lots of maps, walking books and other information.

The living room lighting was a bit dull. The parking place and access road was awkward. A king-size bed would have been better, as there was room. The experience was impersonal, as we never met the owner.

The parking space has a very steep short slope going up and down and I caught my exhaust on it when reversing out so I ended up parking in the street.

Great location for visiting Nidderdale, including the outstanding Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey.

Apartment was spacious and comfortable for two people, clean and well appointed. Private parking space. Easy walking distance of Pateley Bridge and direct access to footpaths into beautiful Nidderdale countryside. Entrance was through a conservatory which would serve as an ideal boot room and area for dirty/wet outdoor clothing had the weather been bad.
