Loved the cottage, really comfortable & spotlessly clean.

The latch on bathroom door needs adjustment. Can be difficult to open. Only needs a small change in the position of the catch on the door frame.

A perfect cottage, we loved it and will be back.

We loved everything about Fox Cottage, the property is very well maintained, lots of little details that go a long way: Dog bowls and treats, lovely welcome gifts in the kitchen.. kindling and logs for the fire... board games.... toiletries in the bathroom.. and of course the location - we loved Pateley Bridge! (PS, the home made candles smell gorgeous)

Personal preference would be for king size bed...!

Fox Cottage A Little Oasis

Closeness to the High Street, comfort, lay out of the place, facilities, the shower was brilliant and pretty much anything else with the property and the nice touch of a welcome card in an envelope on arrival.

Care had to be taken coming out the property as you're straight onto the street but that comes with location and street was there WELL BEFORE CARS. Also no parking at the property, again we knew that so it wasn't an issue as such as there's street parking close by and 2 car parks a little further away 1 free 1 minimal charge.

The most perfect post Xmas break!

Fox cottage is a gem of a cottage. The location is in the heart of Pateley Bridge, just a few steps from the high street where you will find pubs, cafes, shops and the start of some spectacular walks. Inside the cottage, it is clean and homely. Everything is catered for and sitting in front of the fire on a cold winters night was heavenly! Would highly recommend and will be back in the future!

Perfect little diamond

What can we say about this little gem... We absolutely loved our stay here. The host has thought of everything: shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, a welcome pack of bread, eggs, butter, milk, coffee and tea, and the best cookies! Oh, and logs, kindling and starter for the woodburning stove! The location is absolutely perfect, the butcher opposite Church Street is fabulous and dog friendly! Pately Bridge, whilst not being big, has a lovely array of little shops, and a few restaurants, so it really has everything for a short stay. The surrounding area is stunning. So happy we found this place, can't recommend enough.

Drawback for us was the soft bed. Some people will love it, but we prefer something firmer.

Many Thanks to Beth for a wonderful stay and the birthday treat (cake and prosecco) for my other half. Very good communication from the outset. Very considerate and thoughtful host with full kitchen equipment, mod cons, TV and soft furnishings. Powerful shower, comfy beds, central location (Cocoa Joe's, sweet shop, butcher, pubs, park) and well-placed for other attractions (Brimham Rocks, Stump Cross Caverns, Bolton Abbey and Nidd Gorge). When can we come back?

Need to stay for more than 2 days next time - very lucky to get chance to sample life in Pateley Bridge. Until next time.

Amazing, beautiful slice of heaven.

This cottage is a little piece of heaven, the cosy feel with the log burner and great company, We were in Pateley for a reunion with friends who still live there. We had everything we needed and the beds was like sleeping on a cloud. We will be back hopefully sooner rather than later. There are no negatives to this place. Great location for all amenities, Kendalls butchers for the amazing pies and locally sourced meats is just at the end of the road, as is cocoa Joe's the loveliest, yummiest hot chocolate ever.

Sehr gepflegtes und stilsicher eingerichtetes Cottage

Es ist ein traumhaftes, sehr gut gepflegtes und liebevoll ausgestattetes Cottage. Die Küche ist absolut vollständig ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war über Handy und sehr gut. Kostenlose Parkplätze waren in der gleichen Straße etwas weiter oben vorhanden. Ein- und Ausladen war direkt vor der Haustüre möglich (auf der gegenüberligenden Straßenseite gibt es Parkplätze von anderen Wohnungen, an denen man kurz anhalten kann). Wanderungen kann man von der Wohnung aus unternehmen. Zudem liegt die Wohnung gleich im Zentrum des Ortes mit ein paar netten Läden und auch Restaurants. Sehr empfehlenswert alles. Tolle Unterkunft. Betten waren super. Alles sehr empfehlenswert.
