Perfect location for exploring Addingham, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales.
I would say the only addition that would make it better on a evening would be a lamp in the room.

This is a lovely annexe situated at the top of the owner’s main property, but it still feels very private with minimal host interaction. Access is through their utility room and up a set of steep, narrow stairs. Once inside, the space opens out into a bright, quiet retreat with beautiful countryside views from every window.
Loves
1. Absolutely amazing location – peaceful, pretty and surrounded by countryside.
2. Very private despite being attached to the main house.
3. Stunning views and beautiful gardens surrounding the property.
4. Excellent TV setup with generous access to all apps (e.g., Netflix) – perfect for cosy movie nights, TV is huge.
5. Modern, newly fitted shower room.
Likes
1. Decorated to a high standard with a comfortable bed.
2. Well equipped: iron and ironing board, toaster, small air fryer, microwave, and a large fridge.
3. New crockery and a small pint of milk left for arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
4. No oven or hotplate, but we knew this before booking so it wasn’t an issue. We had a meat and cheese platter on the first night, and got a take away the second night. It was well equipped for this.
Suggestions
1. Include heating instructions in the welcome guide - we arrived to a cold flat and only a few hours later found the controller at the bottom of the stairs.
2. A little more attention to detail would help: the kitchen bin still had rubbish in it when we arrived, only half a toilet roll was provided, the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, and there was no tea towel to dry dishes.
3. Washing-up liquid ran out after two days, and the tea/coffee/sugar canisters were empty aside from a few coffee sachets.
Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

The annexe was such a beautiful little get away. The views were incredible and it was such a cute and cosy place. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Lovely secluded location but still close enough to walks and pubs. The living room TV was gigantic, perfect for a movie night. The hosts were really lovely and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a beautiful part of Yorkshire. Easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and walks almost at the doorstep. The apartment was clean, spacious and the kitchenette surprisingly well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.
No complaints but a suggestion: a lamp or two in the lounge area would have been nice, as the overhead lights were a bit bright at night.

Spacious and well suited for our baby daughter
Everything was exceptional so no negatives whatsoever. If we were being really picky, the kitchen could do with a single burner hob but we managed without. The couch also had a lot of dog hairs on it when we got there but nothing a good sticky roller couldn’t fix. We would definitely visit again if we are up in North Yorkshire in the future

Lovely location, wonderful wildlife and the bird song is exceptionally good. The annexe is clean, comfortable and spacious. Ideal for a short break in Yorkshire.

The location of The Annexe was superb, down a leafy lane on the outskirts of the vibrant village of Addingham, and part of the Dales Way. Zero traffic noise. Beautifully kept grounds and an amazing home cinema! Claire our host was always available for any questions or tips on where to go. Clean and comfortable.
There was nothing I didn’t like. Perhaps could do with a mattress topper on the bed to make it more comfortable for oldies with arthritis like me but that is a personal thing. I would definitely return.

The location was lovely. Great seeing lots of rabbits in the garden..Paul was very nice and friendly. The bedroom was nice and comfortable.
The annexe looked lovely but wasn't very practical.
The kitchen space was not practical at all. I dont think it should be classed at self catering as there was no room to do anything. The photo of the utility room is deceiving as this is not with the Annexe. Personally, I'd take away the giant TV, move the sofa up and expand the kitchen. No structural work needed. The sofa wasn't very comfy. Needs another rug in lounge as we tripped over it so many times and couldn't get it to lay flat. Could do with a blind in the bathroom.
