The location is the best feature of this property. Right in the middle of the town and my room had a sea facing view which was absolutely gorgeous. It’s quite an old cottage but It is a well maintained property. I had kettle and supplies for coffee in the room. Clean towels and a supply of toiletries.

You can actually overhear the adjacent rooms and when they are using toilets. But I guess that’s owing to the age of the property. So, if one likes staying in cottages this should be expected I guess. This was my first stay in a non hotel kind of place. Some people might not like the noise of the busy Fore Street if your room window is facing that side.

The location is great but that’s about it. The property is old inside and could do with a refresh.

The property stated parking at location. However the parking is between a 5 minute to a 20 minute walk away as they are all public car parks. The nearest carpark was completely full so had to park a 20 minute walk away and carry all the luggage up a hill. Roads are tiny around the property so can’t just drive to the place with ease. The outside of the property is great but inside is very old. The shower had two temperatures - ice cold or boiled lobster and made no difference trying to change it as all settings did the same! Check out was 10am - got back to the room at 9.57am after carrying all the luggage for 25 mins and was asked if I was leaving now. The person was cleaning another room and could see I was a bit flustered from the uphill trip and proceeded to stand outside the door until I came out! After the whole debacle with the parking I’m sure they could have spared me 2 mins to grab my handbag and charger 😂
