The Western

Loved the central location Staff were helpful at storing the pram instead of us having to take it up and down the stairs. Accommodated making boiled egg for our child at breakfast. Breakfast was nice and fresh, quite a good range on offer

For a family room the safety aspect was not considered. Glass coasters in a family room when you know an under 2 is staying, need to rethink that. No hand-wash in the bathroom. Facilities mentioned toiletries supplied but only a mini soap and shower gel, the shampoo was empty. Lampshades we're all loose again a safety issue with a small child. Would be ideal if family rooms had a small fridge. We had to buy a fresh milk every evening for our sons bedtime instead of being able to store it. This might be considered a luxury I guess but is really handy for a family for many reasons.

Great location room was clean and plenty of room great shower too nice big towels. Great breakfast and the staff there were very attentive and friendly.

Nothing - parking was a bit awkward but once I rang reception she gave me some ideas ended up at the leisure centre and got bus to and from town and it stopped right outside the hotel.

Veg Breakfast was very good

Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Local to all amenities including Bus and Train stations.

Everything was fine.
