It was clean, with a great location and great value for money

Nothing it was perfect

My general impression is very good. I stayed in room 2 for 2 nights in August 2026. It is a small room with no view from the window but you can sit on a bench outside so it wasn't a problem. The room was exceptionally clean compared to a few other places where I stayed in St Ives previously, the carpet seemed to be quite new, bedding was fresh, also furniture was in a good condition. The shared kitchen is very well equipped, fridge is big enough to share with other guests. Plenty of coffee, tea and milk. A great location, only a few minutes to walk to the sea front. I would stay again.

Smart digital door lock is quite fiddly and it took me several attempts to get into the room when I came in. It worked well afterwards. Walls are thin and I could hear everyone coming to the house but room 2 is on the ground floor so it is understandable.

Very close to center and nice view. But alot of steps need to climb. There is clean kitchen to prepare the meal.

The toilet cover is dirty . There is no bathtub plug to use bathtub. Our room is family room for 3 ppl. The room is very small and no space left for luggage to open. The socket and plug for charging phone are all behind the bed and difficult to access.

The bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately the room we were in (room 4) looked like a prison cell. It was tiny and only had a bed and a small coffee table in it. The bathroom (I’m not sure you can call it that) had a toilet and a very narrow shower cabin. It was very uncomfortable. Also bathroom door was filthy, full of greasy finger prints. The view was to someone else’s garden and our window was right above the kitchen window, so when someone was cooking we were forced to smell it all. We stayed out as much as we could, and couldn’t wait to go home.
