Great location Liked the provision of cookies each day and general tea/coffee options

Found the shower difficult to maintain constant temperature changing from hot to cold.

Charlotte and Gabon were very friendly and very helpful (including doing my laundry for a small sum). . The room and guest house generally were exceptionally clean. I had a great sea view from my room (I was at the top of the house, at the front). It wasn't far to walk to walk to both beaches and the promenade. The English breakfast was perfect.

Although it wasn't far to walk to the main part of St. Ives, it was a very steep walk in places.

So many positives about this place. Location was perfect. Place was spotless. Owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

We had the only room in the building that did not have an en-suite. Description stated private bathroom. When we arrived it was on the corridor opposite our room. Meant every time you needed the shower, or use the bathroom throughout the night, you had to put bath rope on that was supplied. Didn’t have sink in bathroom it was in room. So you had to use hand sanitizer that was supplied and then wash your hands in your room. This is fine if you don’t mind the above. However, whenever we’ve gone away we’ve always had en-suite bathroom. Room would have also benefited from a little fridge to keep drinks cold. I just think personally bathroom was not advertised clearly and for this I marked down 1 point.

This was our second stay at the Tregony and it fully met our expectations. Our delightful hosts Charlotte and Gavin greet their guests like old friends. The property is spotlessly clean, well maintained, bright and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are well stocked with some unexpected little extra touches such as new bottles of mineral water each day. Very good breakfast too with a good choice for a small property.

Nothing really, though new guests arriving by train need to be aware that the property is quite a long climb up the hill, though in a pleasant location with good seafront views back towards the town.
