Ghyll Foot Cottage

Everything was close by .plenty of bars and restaurants. Shops.

Cottage in a very busy area. Bin men very noisy early in the morning and delivery driver s engine s running early morning.

The house was amazing, very comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location in the town centre and yet very quiet. Lots of space also. Highly recommend it.

Quirky and cosy, unbelievable location.

Nothing it was perfect.

The location is fantastic very easy access to walks, local bus service and Ambleside. The house has character and the kitchen is very well equipped making it excellent for cooking our own food. Lovely seating area and dining area. We would stay again if something was done about the bedroom windows.

One of the bedrooms had a window in the ceiling with no blind making it impossible to sleep in there. Some very simple changes would make this an absolutely fantastic place to stay - adding a blind to bedroom windows, better mattresses and pillows. Providing the WiFi code - my message to request this was ignored. It would also be helpful if the listing made it clear what is and isn't provided in terms of toiletries and washing up materials. With these small changes I would highly recommend this property.
