Lovely holiday - beautiful place

The apartment looked brand new and was beautiful. Couldn't fault anything about the apartment at all. The main plus for us was the location - very central. Also our own parking space was a bonus as we used the bus all week so the car didn't move till we went home.

The television was huge but had a lot of problems as the wifi kept going off found that a nuisance.

Excellent stay apart from the wine glass incident.

Very clean and comfortable property. Great space, facilities and location. We really enjoyed our stay at Aspen Suite and highly recommend this property.

The wine glass at the property are too thin and fragile. Accidentally cracked one with the slightest contact with the tap and cut myself on another whilst very very careful drying the extremely thin rim which must have had a sharp point on it.

Great stay in central location

Great apartment with everything we required for our weekend stay in Ambleside. The apartment was clean and the location was central so we didn't move the car all weekend - the allocated parking space was an added bonus! The property is right in the centre of town so we had read from previous reviews to expect some noise from the surrounding bars but it wasn't a problem for us and it was the weekend! We couldn't find the hairdryer, messaged the contact number and had an immediate response. All in all a great stay and we will definitely return.

Perfect, loved it

Immaculate, great location and everything was provided, the small important things for a 3 night stay. Excellent

Front bedroom was a bit nosey due to the bar across the road. Could do with a couple of small espresso cups to go with the great little coffee machine.

Relaxed and enjoyable stay, can’t wait to return.

Property was on the first floor, in an excellent location. Shops, cafes, restaurants and bars were on your doorstep. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. TV’s in every room. The kitchen was well stocked, with dishwasher, washing machine,coffee machine, etc. everything you need for a self catering holiday. Any questions, were answered promptly by email.

One minor point, the windows needed cleaned outside.

Good base to explore the area.

Enjoyed the decor and high standard of facilities offered such as the Smart TVs in each room and the high finish on the bathrooms. It was centrally located for a number of walks in and around the area.

Unfortunately upon arrival there was urine splashed up one of the toilets (which we ended up cleaning ourselves, even though the info pack encouraged us to contact the cleaning company with any issues via WhatsApp) and the beds had black hairs on them. The carpet in the twin room had wine/lipstick stains on it (which is fair enough, but doesnt look great) and the fact the property is right in the centre of Ambleside (and opposite a pub) made it very noisy on a night which made us wake up a number of times in the night. I think some triple glazing or other sound proof methods would really help block out the noise for the future.
