A lovely place which helped to make my quiet little birthday a happy one.
The location is brilliant both for cafes and restaurants and for the bus interchange. A comfy little cottage, beautifully clean. Enjoyed ourselves so much we even slightly extended our stay (with permission from the very helpful owner given that no one had already booked that day). Would happily stay there again.

Sweet cottage in Ambleside.
Location was great. Loved the traditional aesthetic. Living room is nice and comfy. TV and WiFi worked well. The street parking whilst limited made unloading and loading the car easy.
Stained duvet cover on double bed. Rusty patio furniture. Shed needs felt replaced. Some basics in the kitchen would of been nice like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and ketchup. Dvd player but couldn't find dvds.

A very small , dated cottage not suitable for families.
The owner, who we met the first day was extremely rude with us as we had arrived 1 hour early after travelling with 2 children and a dog. The parking in Ambleside is not easy, we paid for a long stay car park at the other end of town. The property is very small. Not suitable for a family and pets. No where to sit for meals.

Quaint cottage in central Ambleside with good sized bedrooms and bathroom.
Location is fantastic, old world feel , well equipped kitchen, spacious upstairs
Layout of the downstairs was ok but there were only 2 of us , would have liked a larger tv for the nights we didn’t get out and think others especially families would benefit from this .

We hit the heatwave and stormy weather a couple of fans for the bedrooms would have been a bonus.
