Overall very happy with apartment and location for getting around the lakes

Location was great. Apartment was very good. Well equipped and clean. Everything you could need was there

Great find for short stay, all the amenities you could want on a weekend break.

Excellent location, loads of room for everybody.

Couldn’t use allocated parking space due to other inconsiderate parkers. Some updating would be beneficial and externally a few lights were out which meant it was dark when leaving at night.

Good accommodation in an excellent location for Ambleside

Excellent accommodation with everything you needed and having 3 x bathrooms for 3 x bedrooms was good. Good value for money Excellent location (10 minute walk into Ambleside) Parking (allocated for 1 car but visitor spots for others) Good instructions received for getting to the property by car and to collect the keys from the keysafe

When i messaged the property to ask a couple of questions they never responded even though i messaged more than once. No flexibility with check in or check out

Fantastic short stay in Ambleside

What an amazing place! The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The kitchen looks new and was superbly equipped. A really quiet location apart from a stream and waterfall nearby but surely that is a positive? If not then the windows and doors were perfectly soundproofed We will definitely be returning.

The accommodation was up a bit of a hill but you would need to be very unfit or have mobility problems for it to be an issue.

A week with our family in one of our favourite places and the sun shone every day!

Lovely property with good room layout, plenty of space and good fixtures / fittings. Modern well fitted kitchen with plenty of equipment. Comfortable beds.

Parking was a little difficult, the single designated undercover parking space required considerable manouevring and parking for additional vehicles was very limited. We managed o.k. though.

Amazing, comfy, cosy

Spacious property , well equipped with kettle, hob, microwave, oven, fridge- freezer, electric heating, TV, board games, utensils, pots , washing machine, dryer etc. Ghyll waterfall is a mile walk from house.

We were promised shower gel n shampoo in shower rooms but wasn’t there. Also third bathroom which was not a part of bedroom had no shower curtain, so wasn’t really able to use it & hand shower holder was broken. Also the parking is very compact, cut to cut space for 8 seater vehicle.

Clean , great location . Very well equipped.

The double room without the en-suite needs a mirror and the family bathroom needs the shower attachment to the wall with a shower screen/ curtain.

Great location, decent facilities, not great value.

The kitchen and bathrooms were good. The location was excellent, both the proximity to town and to the creek. Listening to the rolling water in the creek was a joy.

The carpeting and furnishings showed very visible use and wear and tear, so that we were not comfortable lounging. We sat just at the dining room table, where it was easier to see that it was clean. For the cost of the place, we would have expected the standard to be a bit higher.
