Ideally located on a quiet street right in the heart of Ambleside.
The beds were lovely and comfortable and the cotton bedding was very high quality
Heating could've been turned on before our arrival, but once on it fairly quickly got to a comfortable temp.

Just stayed here with my 2 kids and partner, very impressed with our stay! Such cosy apartment, perfect for the kids, bed room decor is lovely as well as very comfy beds. Facilities were fab and great location right in the centre and we didn’t even hear any noise from the streets or pub.
Front bedroom was a little bit cold, maybe I couldn’t work the heater as the other bedrooms were fine.

Attic suite lovely but just a little rustic, also stairs up a little narrow but thats because Im not as agile as I used to be!!

It is no longer laid out like the photos shown😪 there is no fireplace with a fire has now been blocked off with a sofa instead there is a radiator which doesn’t work so a temporary oil plug-in radiator. Is its replacement, Sadly due to the size of the room the radiator is too small to warm the room. Bed linen had not been changed one of the pillows had somebody’s make-up stain and when pulling back the duvets, pubic hairs were found throughout the beds. we bought wipes from the local Tesco Express and deep cleaned all the sides and tables, they was very filthy. Cutlery and plates all filthy luckily we boil washed them in the dishwasher. The maintenance is the only downfall for this property.

We were self catering so no meals involved but the kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent and the parking permit was a bonus
We were double booked and only found out half an hour before check in. We had been advised that, even if the property wasn't ready to check in, we could let ourselves in to collect the parking permit. However, we received an untitled whatsapp (seriously!!) from a number we didn't recognise when we were almost there telling us we were double booked and we 'might like to consider' alternative accommodation - after 3 unsuccessful attempts to contact this number we assumed it was a scam and that, had it been genuine, Booking.com or the owners would at least have had the decency to ring us as it was a family booking and both knew we were travelling with a young child. We arrived at the apartment not knowing whether someone else might be in there which was very unnerving. However, it was empty (apart from the cleaner who gave us the permit) so we went back an hour later as advised, unpacked and settled in for the night assuming all was well and we were not double booked. Then around 6.30pm there was a knock at the door and 3 women were standing there claiming to be the rightful guests. They had also received a message that they were double booked but said they were told by Booking.com that the problem had been 'fixed' - IT HAD NOT! They were very understanding of our situation as we had a young child with us and, after a few moments of discussion, they left to find somewhere else to stay - which I do hope Booking.com or the owners paid for - it's the least they could expect. We understand that mistakes happen but this one was dealt with very badly. We were very disappointed and it spoiled our trip, which is a shame as it was a nice apartment, which otherwise met all our expectations. Our granddaughter remained afraid for the rest of the stay that someone else may try to get into the apartment - hardly ideal. Apologies all round are needed to us and the other 'would be' guests.

For the price it is an excellentflat in a great central location. Three double beds in the rooms and each room with an ensuite. The lounge was very comfortable too. The property also provides a parking permit which helped.

The sofas in the property have been upgraded so much nicer than the ones in the pictures. Room for 6 adults.
Beds were very comfortable - a shame they couldn’t be made in to twins as they are twin beds underneath.
The heater in the living room wasn’t working and couldn’t be fixed so a small portable heater was provided. We also had an issue with one toilet not flushing but that was quickly rectified.
Kettle takes a very long time to boil and needed two rounds when making cuppas for 6 adults.

The 2 level apartment was absolutely perfect for us, a family of 5!
Great location in Ambleside. In a historical William Wordsworth linked building. Close to restaurants,including the Michelin ones, pubs and shops. N.B. Eat at The Schelly(next door)
Huge TV in the living room and bedroom. Good wifi.
The kitchen was fully equipped and the washing machine worked perfectly.
To top it all, the communication with the staff was quick and the check in...and out, was flawless.
We had a car and their parking permit worked really well.

The Location is good and the 2 main floor bedrooms were fine, spacious and comfortable beds.
The cooking facilities were dirty, kettle full of lime scale and possibly mould. Cooking pans and trays dirty. The upstairs bedroom needs attention, not to the same standard as the other 2. We didn't find the parking pass useful, found it more convenient to buy our own parking pass. Only decaffeinated coffee provided.

Ambleside is a lovely town, and this is situated in the heart of it with excellent access to Windermere and the stock ghyll waterfall

Opposite The Priest Hole and The Royal Oak. Parking was easy and this was in Aug on a Sat! The parking on the street was a concern however didn't struggle once. The apartment was renovated to a high standard and felt very plush in the bedrooms. Amazing beds ad bedding!
The loft bedroom wasn't as high standard finish. And the bed was too low.

The location was superb, with the Royal Oak pub just over the road. The flat was very nicely decorated and furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everything looked brand new. Having three en-suite rooms was perfect for us. We didn’t use the parking permit as we were on motorcycles, and we could park them for free in the nearby council car park. The beds are sizeable, with quality bedding. I personally found my bed too firm, however someone else found theirs too soft. We’d have swapped if we’d known! Try the beds before you commit to a room! There are two small sofas in the living room. They were fine for us, but I think you’d feel a bit cramped if you were a group of six. Overall it was a great stay, and the flat suited our needs perfectly. I would definitely go there again.

Great central location and check in was very easy. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. A real bonus having 3 double bedrooms with en-suites. Parking is very close by.

Had an issue on arrival as the property had not been cleaned. This I accepted as confusion over the last occupancy. Contacted the host who had someone found within minutes to sort out.

No essentials such as toilet roll, sauces, foil etc, one dining room chair falling apart, settee not really comfortable, mattress toppers were stained, need new towels, very shabby, the key lock is electronic had to keep calling manager as the bedroom lock malfunctioned however manager was very efficient, there were 6 of us only 4 mugs just little things but they all add up

The duvet cover and bedding was not big enough for the size of the bed. Only just covered the bed so when 1 person pulled the duvet, it pulled off the other
There were also lots of little black flies.
Also no info re WiFi code. Did ask owner but they didn't reply.
Also not properties fault but lots of noise from the pub opposite which was open till midnight

Minor points - needed basics in kitchen to allow for easier self-catering - eg salt, pepper, cooking oil and dishwasher tabs.. Towels were frayed and rough.
