Marele Apartment City Center by Cretan Houses

The apartment is about 15 minutes from the Heraklion airport by shuttle. We arranged the airport transfer with the host, and it turned out cheaper than if we would have ordered it at the airport. The apartment itself is very spacious, we easily fit with our company of seven. The apartment can be accessed by an elevator, quite conveniently. The location of the apartment is on a busy street, there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. If you rent a car, there is a parking spot right next to the apartment. It's a three bedroom apartment with a large living room combined with a kitchen. Each room has an air conditioner, which is a must during hot summer days. All amenities worked well. WiFi connection was perfect. There is a large terrace with a table, could be used in the evenings when the heat subsides. The hosts have been very pleasant; they met us with a basket of local treats and drinks upon our arrival. Also, a big plus was the presence of board games, puzzles and coloring books which kept our kids busy. Amoudarra beach is about 15-20 min walking distance. We, however, visited the beach area to the right of the stadium. There is no beach infrastructure there; however, the water entrance is much better and there are very few people on the beach. The water was very warm. Besides for a couple windy days, the sea was calm and pristine. We still recommend renting a car and visiting other beaches in Crete for the complete experience. Overall, this was a nice stay, we would recommend the apartment for large families and companies.

Very cozy, the size of the apartment was perfect, nice open living room with beautiful decorations. We were greeted with fruit and wine and more. The bus stop to the city center and airport was right next to the apartment. Nice beach 25 mins away on foot.

Comme indiqué dans l'annonce, l'appartement est spacieux et dispose de 3 chambres qui ont toute un grand lit.. L'appartement est entièrement climatisé. A notre arrivée, pleines de petites attentions. Situé dans une zone d'activités commerciales et à proximité d'un garage et d'une station essence, le parking est facile et gratuit. L'avantage est de pouvoir faire ses courses aux grandes enseignes rapidement.

Situé dans une zone d'activités commerciales et la proximité d'une route passante, l'ambiance est plutôt bruyante et si la vue au loin, est effectivement la ville, celle du balcon est plutôt celle de l'arrière de garage. Pour l'espace cuisine, une vraie plaque de cuisson et un four micro-onde seraient vraiment nécessaires. L'appartement, les meubles et les décorations ont souvent bien vécu. Le coup de peinture ne suffit plus à masquer la réalité Niveau literie, nous avons vraiment du mal avec les matelas à ressort.

It is a spacious accomodation with amenities good for a family stay. The living room is large, there is a study space and two bathrooms. The rooms are big enough. If you would like to watch TV, there is a giant one.

Since we were there in January, it was not too warm. Heating was with AC, which is not optimal. The apartment has marble floors, so it is more as a summer place, rather than winter. If there was central heating, it would have been better. The location is not far from Herakleion city center, but the neighborhood is not appealing. Yet, it is practical to get around. You will need a car. One of the bathroom's shower didn't have the water drainage go fast, so water stayed there for a while. The kitchen stove is also primitve.
