Honestly, the best part about this rental was Manos, he was super helpful and responsive when any issues arose. His parents were delightful as well. The unit is comfortable and definitely big enough for a small family, 3 or 4 people.

The bathroom is really pretty tight, as well as the shower. The hardest thing we found was the lack of sunlight. The way the lower unit is positioned, you really don't get much light into the apartment and for a longer stay of a month, that was difficult.

The host was very accommodating and kind! His mother came to visit as well and gave our daughter gifts! They gave us a care package and were so hospitable our whole stay! They took time to check in periodically through text and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible! I would rent again with them! They are incredible!

There is honestly nothing I did not like about this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Luxury Apartment’s, hosted by Manos. The apartment is beautiful, fully equipped with everything you might need, and the terrace is simply amazing. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, making the location perfect if you want to stay extremely close to the sea. We stayed with our 7-month-old baby and found everything very convenient. There are two grocery stores right next to the apartment, a pharmacy within a 2-minute walk, and plenty of great restaurants serving delicious Cretan food nearby. The city center is a bit farther away, and we wouldn’t recommend walking there with a stroller, but there’s a bus or taxi available (fixed price of €14 from Amoudara to Heraklion Center). Manos is the best host you could ask for. He kept in touch throughout our stay, checked if we needed anything, and was always ready to help with anything we asked. We highly recommend this place!
