Comfortable flat, good view, friendly hosts

Our hosts were very welcoming and showed us around the accommodation on arrival. They even provided scones and clotted cream. The flat had a lovely view over the estuary as you would expect from the name! The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were on a cycling trip and our hosts made space in their garage so we could store our bikes under cover. Much appreciated, thank you.

The only small negative was that some of the cutlery, plates etc needed a wash before use but nothing too serious.

Malindi is good for the soul!

We loved the apartment from the minute we arrived. Its a very nice neighbourhood and beautiful looking house and gardens. Inside it's very clean and really well laid out with great relaxing area, kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom. We spoke with host Debbie and she was lovely and welcoming. We can't speak highly enough of Malindi and will definately be back, Thank you

Great place, excellent location.

A lovely apartment in a very quiet area, a 5-10 minute walk to the seafront or into the centre of town. Had everything you need for a break, kitchen had a range of pans and utensils. Debbie kindly left some milk, tea and coffee plus some scones with jam and clotted cream. My wife then found the chocolate hobnobs in the biscuit barrel so was extremely happy. Room to park in front on the drive so no problem finding a space if you go out in the car.

Wish all apartments were this standard!!!

Spotless. Bright and airy. Cosy and comfortable. Had absolutely everything we needed. Debbie was a wonderful host. Private parking with max fifteen minute walk down into town for M&S Food and/or cafes restaurants, beach, etc. Also -- leave the car as brilliant train service into Exeter!

Lovely stay at Estuary View. Very comfortable, well equipment apartment. Generous and very responsive host. Enjoyed the music and the welcome scones, and really appreciated the ride back to the station. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous experience

What a lovely property. Immaculate and only a short walk into the heart of the town. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has everything you’d need for, easily, a short or longer stay. The complementary homemade banana cake, along with milk and other essentials, make for a fabulous experience.

A wonderful relaxing stay

Enjoyable stay with enough near by to keep us occupied.

Clean and comfortable, more spacious than I imagined from photos. Location was quiet and only 5 min walk to beach,10-15 min walk to town shops. If you like walking, the coastal path to Budleigh Salterton is at one end of beach and you can take a water taxi the few hundred yards from the harbour to Dawlish Warren.Debbie,the host was friendly and when we couldn't get any free to view channels on the TV our first evening there, her son came immediately to sort it out.

Fab stay here, Debbie was very welcoming. Homemade cake on arrival- scrumptious! Everything you needed on the equipment front. Very convenient location, less than 5 minutes to centre, restaurants etc. Certain we will return at some point in the future.

Lovely Spacious Flat in Good Central Location

Lovely spacious apartment with everything we needed for a comfy stay at the seaside. Hosts were very friendly. Location was perfect for us in a quiet cul-de-sac, with a fairly short walk to either the town centre or the beach.

Extremely comfortable and perfect for our needs.

We were in Exmouth to watch our son who was playing in a 3 day county cricket match. Debbie was so friendly and lovely when she greeted us. The apartment was perfect for our needs within easy walking distance of the cricket ground, seafront and town centre. All in all a perfect stay.

A lovely stay in a comfortable apartment with a very friendly host (Debbie)

Breakfast was excellent. Location was up a short hill but very quiet with no disturbances from outside. Nice to have shared use of the lovely garden to the front and rear of the flat.

Comfortable and relaxing short stay in Exmouth, would definitely book again

The property was very well presented and clean. We stayed in the self catering flat, which contained everything we needed for our short break. Loved the views of the estuary from the kitchen window. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. It was an easy walk into the town centre and the beach. Debbie was very pleasant and friendly, and we would love to stay there again in the future.

The property exceeded our expectations, so can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Exceptional

Debbie wasn't excellent host for our stay at estuary View and would not have wished for anything more. Full kitchen facilities to enable us to eat in for one evening, and enjoy the large flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon as well as the terrestrial stations so view. The bed was particularly comfortable and the area was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Could not have asked for anything more for our stay in Exmouth.

A very warm welcome on Christmas Eve from our host with everything we needed. A warm, clean, cosy and beautifully decorated apartment close to the town and beach. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Disappointing visit to a place that has great potential.

Could collect the key as it was left in the back of the door. Nice enough location, ample parking and clean throughout. Large sky connected TV. Easy to access and generally left to our own devices during our stay.

We couldn't seem to get a decent amount of hot water and only ever achieved tepid which was fairly disappointing for baths after a hard day in the cold and wet working. We were then met with a very nonchalant attitude to try and rectify this when we mentioned it to the owner. We used the kettle to get it to a passable temperature. The bath was one of the factors for us when we chose to stay here. When the electric shower turned on the lights in the bathroom flickered and then dimmed. The bed wasn't acceptable at all and could do with being upgrading to something not as rigid. Kitchen was perfect sized but lacked a few key utensils, drinking glasses and a decent extractor. Additional charges for our dog to stay, they do mention it but seems like another cheeky way to grab money when we were already paying for the whole flat.

Amazing 👌

Debbie was an absolute dream to deal with, super helpful, adaptable and kind. The apartment was really new and spotless, with everything that someone can need looked after to detail 👌, particularly fond of the French cafetière and fresh ground coffee, truly a treat considering how much I love good coffee. This is by far one of the best places I've ever stayed at in the UK for a much needed short break 10/10
