Classy 2 bed-sleeps 4-king& twin rooms-free parking-close to town & beach

Well equipped and sizeable kitchen, comfy and very spacious lounge, Good shower and additional toilet a bonus. Nice roomy bedrooms with comfy beds and quality bedding and pillows. Parking permit very good (need to pay on changeover day while car registration is added). Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided (nice touch). Useful dining area, breakfast bar and further 'snug' lounge downstairs. Small private courtyard with seating for 2 (not used). Excellent Wifi. Location central to everything and short walk to the marina, beach, shops and station - perfect!! I highly recommend the Grapevine for food and an incredible 19 different ales on tap. Stuart Line boat trips are exceptional value for money. Shaldon Bakery for their wonderful breads and pasties. The Postcard Cafe for ultra-friendly and helpful service (low prices too). On the whole a very nice place to stay for a group of 4 (massive for my group of 2).

Ventilation upstairs - I got quite hot at night and was not able to open lounge windows for airflow. No decent non-stick pan for eggs (minor niggle!). Easily overlooked by neighbouring properties in bedrooms with no net curtains. No blackout blinds so light early in morning. Only one key.

Very clean, comfortable and Central for the town. The sea front is only a 7 to 10 minute walk from the house

Not actually a dislike but the car has to be parked in public long stay car park about 10 min walk away. This was arranged to be free for one car by the host. However, this was Not actually a problem for us,

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Stylish decor, accessories etc. Nice internal ambience. Peaceful location. Chosen by us because we wanted to be near Holy Trinity Church for an evening concert, which this was. Very helpful communication from property manager and use of parking permit for Exmouth car parks which was very useful. Arrival and departure all very straightforward.

Only minor issues: parking outside property for unloading and loading only - but this was easily managed by us. 10am check out time felt a little early: maybe 10.30 or 11.00 could be considered, but appreciate cleaning schedules.
