Fresh water flows from Table Mountain and into the wetlands, where wild birds cant be spotted frolicking and feeding. Start the day with a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool before packing a picnic and heading to the park – don't forget your camera as this is a great spot for nature photography. If you don't fancy hitting one of the many bars and restaurants in the area, head home to fire up the barbecue. There's nothing quite like a good old South African braai to refuel after a busy day. Take a seat on the patio and tuck in as the sun goes down, before enjoying a long soak in the bath with a good book.
