A wonderful getaway for a group, right near the beach and a short walk to great cafes.

This place was just as it was described and was an ideal place to spend 3 nights with our family of 7. My elderly mother 86yo was able to negotiate the indoor stairs and stayed on the ground floor. The young adult kids loved the games room with darts, a pool table and table tennis table. The nearby shops and cafes were walking distance and great. The beach here is amazing. I would recommend this place for a group of friends or family who want a getaway that has room for everyone.

The house is tricky to find as the numbers aren't in sequence.

Wonderful location right next to the beach and very quiet, beautiful upstairs rooms and balcony. Good kitchen. The swimming pool and garden area was lovely.

The downstairs area didn’t seem as fresh and pleasant as upstairs.

The property is beautiful - very spacious and well fitted out. There is enough space that even with a party of eight it does not feel crowded. Enough little nooks and crannies for private time as well as communal gathering spaces. The games room was a definite winner with our teens.

It was an amazing house, I would say it is the perfect place to stay with friends or family. Super close to the beach and a few cafes/restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, perfect to relax.

Right next to the beach in the gentle village of Scarborough.

The location is incredible, you are literally separated from the beach by a dune. And the gorgeous village hub is within easy walking distance. This is a big home that will accommodate an extended family. The games room was lovely for our young adult children.

The property needs a fair amount of maintenance including things like the main bathroom sink & shower not draining properly, plugs in the kitchen sink & dishwasher not working. Main bathroom door rail needs fixing. WiFi is OK but obviously does not work during loadshedding & cell phone access is almost non existent during load shedding.

Amazing

We were a large family group and we found that everyone could be together or have their own space. The positives are too numerous to mention but here are a few spaciousness of property, pool, games room, parking, sun deck was fabulous, staff so helpful, the garden and the birds which were regular visitors and Scarborough itself an absolute delight. We have had an amazing time at Atlantic Dream and we were so sad to leave South Africa but hopefully we will be back again in the not too distant future. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Just a pity that you can’t see more of the amazing beach from the property but this is a conservation area after all and nature is nature. This did not affect our stay in anyway and would still thoroughly recommend Atlantic Dream and hope to come and stay there again.

Perfect location, excellent space.

The location is incredibly hard to beat, right on the beachfront with an easy walk over the dunes to the ocean. The house is large enough to accommodate our medium sized group (8 adults) easily, without us getting in each others' ways, but the communal areas are great for group meals and connecting. We will certainly return.

Spectacular stay in Scarbrough

The location was incredible. The house was spacious and airy. The games room was lots of fun . Nice pool . Lots of showers and toilets .

No Wifi ! No washing machine. .We weren't allowed to use the washing machine that was there .. We felt too uneasy to turn the TV on as we were made aware of an imposed fine if we messed the channels up. . Some of the mattresses were uncomfortable .

Lovely Place, Would Book Again

Place was bigger than expected, and extremely well kitted out. Pool was clean and just big enough. Lovely outside area, perfect for braaing and swimming. 2 mins walk to the beach, making location perfect. Definately would go again.

Only minor things (e.g. would benefit from having a gas hob instead of electric, as well as more lights converted to loadshedding compatible bulbs).

Great summer holiday location.

Loved the place!! Practically at the beach…but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The house is spacious and homely…has everything you need …a home away from home. The kids and adults loved it and was sad to leave. Will definitely book again.

My over all stay was amazing and I would definitely stay here again!

I really loved the facilities, The pool and games room really made our stay extra special, and the fact that everyone had their own bathroom was a bonus. The house is really stunning and the view makes it even better! The hosts were also really accommodating to our needs

The only downside about staying at this property is the fact that there are no surrounding shops for basic groceries. If you do stay here please make sure you buy enough of everything because shops are at least a 20min drive lol

The fact that the place was pet friendly, had a pool table and a swimming pool.

The steep steps was not very comfortable for the over 60s. The fact that the steps are open in between was not very safe for small dogs like my pomeranians.

Hoping to return to Atlantic dream for another break away very soon!!

Everything we needed was on hand. The balconies gave us the opportunity to have a late-night outdoor dinner. The game room brought out some fun competitive streaks, kept us occupied, and created some fun bonding time with our kids. The weather was great, which in turn made the pool great, and the fact that we could stroll to the beach was just a bonus. I loved the fact check-in was so easy and we could do it by ourselves, with no overbearing host taking up an hour to explain how everything works

The locking and unlocking of some doors. The locks of some doors are very tricky, and the keys for each door can also be clearly marked. You have to try each key at each door until you find the right one.
