L’emplacement est idéal, proche des commerces et de la plage. En même temps il est suffisamment éloigné pour être à l’abris des regards.
Il n’y a aucun vis à vis, la vue sur la mer est époustouflante.
Le logement comporte assez de surface et d’équipements pour passer un séjour confortable.
Il y a un parking facile d’accès.
La grande terrasse ouverte permet de vivre et dormir au grand air, de façon sécurisée. Cela a été notre plus grand luxe.
L’accueil de Janis et ses trois chiens a été très chaleureux. Janis nous a donné beaucoup de conseils sur les activités à faire aux alentours, ainsi que les restaurants et les commerces.

Janice was very helpful to us when checking in. She checked in on us by text and suggested attending a special fish bbq at a restaurant. The view is stupendous of the beach, waves, and bay. The location is convenient within a short walk from restaurants, grocery store, beach, and hiking trails.

Beautiful location. This wooden cottage is beautifully build with amazing woodwork and attention to detail. It is comfortable and warm. Love that there is only nature to entertain and no TV. Wifi was great only one spot in the bed area has no signal.

I would add another shelf in the bathroom where you can put down clothes etc. the basin cupboard is just a bit too small to put down things.

Amazing location over the beautiful Scarborough beach. Secluded in the hills and trees it is a peaceful sanctuary. Perfect for those who like to catch sunsets, hike, or enjoy the beach. The small village has hippie, surfing vibes and all the amenities you might need, with the camel rock pub that also sells provisions, and a healthy cafe.
There was ample parking in the shade which was really useful, with a car you can explore the whole peninsula and city, with really easy access to Simon's Town and Cape Point.
The property used lots of wood and felt really natural, the view from the bathroom was such a cute touch. A braai station, an outdoor bed for relaxing, a hammock and a spacious covered kitchen area that really blend outdoor and indoor.
Janis was really lovely, wish we had spent more time getting to know her and the three lovely well behaved dogs too, but our itinerary was jam-packed. She was really accessible through WhatsApp which made everything easier.
WiFi was really good to say we felt like we were on the edge of the world!! The peace and tranquility here is really inspiring. The night sky was incredible from the balcony.
Scarborough is very hippie and chill, lots of barefoot folks and a very relaxed nature. It has white sands and cool sea with a lot of motion as it's on the Atlantic side. Sleeping with the sound of crashing waves was life-changing, I have never slept better.
Be prepared to fall in love with Scarborough!
Wish we could have stayed longer!
