Wilton Retreat

The property is very spacious, clean, and a good location in terms of cafes, restaurants, a small sainsburys all accessible by foot. 10 mins from the ferry port. Comfortable and good amenities.

We are from a rural area and we’re just staying in the area for a night before catching the ferry so maybe it’s just that we’re not used to it but there was some unsavoury characters smoking crack across the road as we pulled up the property, it wouldnt stop me staying there again as the property did feel safe but I wouldn’t travel on my own there with the kids. The garden area has a nice little seat however the rest needs some TLC, there was broken furniture and an old towel laying around.

The property was clean, good facilities, great communication

We didn't get the code to get in the house until chasing after 3pm, but this is a minor issue.

The location was good

I really don’t like giving bad reviews but I do have to be honest, unfortunately the house was grubby n dirty, it’s been badly renovated where things aren’t finished off properly, a bit slap dash and it there’s a musty smell like stagnant water/wet dog/stale smoke. It wasn’t a pleasant stay unfortunately
