Spiral stairs were fine for us but if you have mobility or health issues beware! We travelled light which was perfect for 1 night

History meets the real world

Historically speaking, it was an incredible experience.

Our apartment was on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. I respect that this is a historical building but it should be made known to renters that you have to climb sixty steps to get to the Scala Suite. Mind you, sixty steps should be something everyone should do every day but with luggage, that is a whole different issue. Parking is listed as available but we spent 110 euros for 2.5 days for parking that was not especially close to the apartment. I think it should be made very clear that when you make the reservation it seems as if it is going through at the moment and you have paid in advance, but instead you receive this last minute notice that you haven’t paid for your reservation in advance. By that time you are scrambling trying to decide if you want to find another place or stick with the reservation. It is kind of a Catch-22 situation. If you are going to Lyon for the experience of the old town, you can take the metro or the tram and get there easily without spending so much on parking. If you are there to experience the silk merchants alleyways, the traboules, then by all means, stay here.

Amazing apartment but not suitable for family with baby/toddler

-The interior design -The bed is super comfortable -The shower is really spacious and if you like bath tubs, you are in for a treat -Coffee and tea offered -A lot of restaurants and coffee/bakeries around it

-You can’t access it by car as the area is only available for residents (owning a special card) and for deliveries. So this means that it’s practically impossible to just leave the luggage and find a parking spot after -No parking spots, so either on the street on a public metered space or in a private parking(around 45 euros per day) -The staircase is a nightmare if you have more than one luggage as it’s an old spiral stone design. No elevator available -There is no table inside to eat on, except the coffee table. -There is no tap except the one in the shower room. -There is no coat hanger or hooks at the entrance. -No storage space except a small one in the bedroom. All the other cabinets are locked.

I have stayed at various MiHotel apartments and all in all have had great experiences!

Lovely positioned Apartment within the old town of Lyon and close walking distance to various attractions. The old town is lovely in summer and autumn offering great eateries and cafe's. Exit the apartment and you are in the pedestrian area with its cobbled streets! The shops and bars at your doorstep as well. Great amenities, clean and comfortable.

The staircase with luggage is challenging. If you are travelling to this apartment, best you have light luggage. 3 stories of stairs! The electronic lock to get into the apartment was malfunctioning and trust that it will be sorted. The lack of glasses and cups needs attention: 1x mug available but the apartment sleeps 2. We requested another mug but it never arrived and no response from the office. Remember that this apartment has no reception.

It's an airbnb without host. No added value than any other airbnb with nice decor.

Beautiful decoration Located in old city center which has its own magic it has 2 big bathrooms modern and with hot water The pictures are accurate for the actual decoration of the appartment.

No place for luggage in the bedroom or near bedroom, you have to put it in the bed or hallway so ok for 1 person not couples. Notice there's no dining table but a living room with a low center table (in case you eat in the appartment) Staff was absolutely unreachable, I had an issue and when I could finally reach them they said on the phone they'll call back and someone would arrive to assist but nothing happened. I wrote an e-mail and was only answered until the next day when the emergency was solved by me alone asking a random person in the street. So if you don't need anything it's a nice appartment but please notice you're on your own during your stay. It's not an hotel but an airbnb without host.

Perfect location, quirky entrance, speakers in the bathroom and super comfy bed

Payment over the phone. The staff representative asked for my card cryptogram, which felt a bit unsafe. The link they sent me by email instead was a better way.

Baignoire incroyable, il faisait très chaud et un 25/12 ce fut très agréable. L’escalier pour monté dans la chambre est magnifique. La chambre/appartement est très romantique.

Belle suite au coeur du Vieux Lyon

Bel appartement situé sur cour dans la rue Saint Jean. Emplaceemnt très central au coeur du Vieux Lyon. De belles prestations, la suite est spacieuse tout juste rénovée avec goût.

dommage que les suites de Mi Hotel ne soient pas toutes aussi bien, mon expérience de la semaine précédente suite Luna montée du Gourguillon était très décevante

Pessimo

La camera non era male, ma l’ingresso era in una vietta nascosta e sporca

Ho dovuto chiamare 4 volte per entrare nella camera, il codice non funzionava, la scala era impossibile da fare con le valigie. Non è arrivata la colazione prenotata e per giunta dalla struttura mi hanno risposto malissimo buttando giù il telefono perché ho chiamato chiedendo della colazione! Non lo si può affatto definirlo un albergo! Non si può neanche entrare nella camera prima delle 17. La camera per giunta era carissima! Pessima pessima esperienza
