Comfortably base in Linton

Spacious property in a lovely village, well placed for Wetherby park run, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Leeds and York. Comfortably accommodated 5 adults and the owners kindly configured the beds to meet our needs. Good communication throughout made everything easy for us. Plenty of shops and pubs nearby and great road links to explore the wider area.

A few small suggestions to help make the house more appealing , we thought a bit overpriced.

Great property in lovely location.

The location of the property was perfect. It was a weekend reccie for the Ironman and access to where we needed to be was spot on. Amenities accessible by a short car ride in several directions. The house was far more spacious than expected and two full bathrooms a real plus with six adults. Hot water at all times. Very much appreciated the complimentary shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. It was great to have a full size dining table to eat at and play board games. The parking for two vehicles was a big factor in booking this house plus the use of the garage for bike storage. The property had nearly everything for the perfect stay. Great communication with Jon and Laura.

Not really a negative but a would have liked…a couple of good serving spoons! And a stand for when the hot dishes came out of the oven.

An ideal getaway

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. The house is gorgeous both inside and out. So spacious and beautifully presented. It caters for your every need . The hosts, Jon and Laura, gave us added extras (a beautiful tin of biscuits, a Christmas card) which really meant a lot to us. It is in a beautiful location with easy access (via car) to York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and a few other places of interest. We would highly recommend staying here and hopefully we'll be back in the future.

Good stay but the host needs to be more accommodating

Location and cleanliness was good.

The strict checkout time set at 10am, which proved to be particularly inconvenient for us as we were traveling leisurely with our family. We understand the importance of adhering to checkout policies to ensure smooth operations for the host. However, it would have been more accommodating if the checkout time was a bit later, considering the nature of leisure trips where families often require extra time for packing, organizing, and ensuring a stress-free departure and alleviated the rushed atmosphere and allowed us to conclude our stay more comfortably. It's worth mentioning that the host was quite firm about the checkout time, not granting even a small grace period of 15 minutes beyond the stated time. While we appreciate their commitment to maintaining schedules, this lack of flexibility created additional stress and pressure, taking away some of the relaxation we sought during our vacation.

Cozy, quaint home with perfect space for our family who was visiting from Los Angeles..

There was a binder with useful information by the hosts. It was very nice that there was a separate dining room along with a seating room. The home was very charming and there were lots of nice little touches. It was helpful having plenty of closet/storage space. We were visiting my husband’s relatives who live in the area. We had traveled from Los Angeles and are glad we stayed there instead of in a hotel.

We loved our stay in the Wetherby area!

The home was in a beautiful location in the countryside. The home was spacious and we loved watching movies in the living room and playing games in the dining room. Lots of closet space in the 2 large bedrooms.

It might be nice to have shampoo/soap in the bathrooms.

Just wonderful. Attentive hosts.

It was just so lovely. Lovely little touch the chalk board saying welcome etc. amazing value for money. We loved it. Was looking to stay longer but I checked it was sold out and I wasn’t surprised.
