Valley Mount was a comfortable property right in the heart of Harrogate. The Check-In process was very easy with a door code rather than keys. The property was spotless and the beds very comfortable.
Some parts of the property are a little dated but in good condition. I think 7 people might struggle to sit round the table or all fit on the sofas at the same time. This was no problem for us but would be mindful for larger bookings.

Great location within easy reach to lovely cafes/restaurants, park and town center. The house itself has everything you need for a self-catering stay and the host was easily contactable.
Parking outside the property was limited to 3 hours.
We managed to drop our cases off but then had to find an alternative place to park. If it had been bad weather it would have been a lot more inconvenient.
The bathroom door didn't lock properly and there was no additional bedding eg blanket/throws for the colder weather.

Great location for getting in to Harrogate. On street parking with appropriate disc provided. Good size bedrooms. Clean with good self catering facilities. Good supply of hot water. Could do with a mirror in the top bedroom.
Looks to be in need of some redecoration. Some of the bedroom furniture in need of repair. Toilet button in the main bathroom requires replacing as kept sticking and water did not stop running through cistern without manual attention. Shower over bath was difficult to climb into for a smaller guest. Hand rail may be a consideration for safety.
