Tournai long weekend

Nice roomy comfortable apartment close to all that Tournai has to offer. Apartment was equipped with all that you need for a short stay in this lovely old cathedral town. There were info leaflets left on the table to help out with the many things to do in and around the town and also a car parking disc. We walked everywhere as most things were close by, including the cathedral and famous old belfry. There is also a small bakery around the corner from fresh bread and croissants.

The only thing i was slightly apprehensive with is the fact that the main boiler for heating and hot water is in the main bedroom, so maybe just a carbon monoxide alarm close by to where people are sleeping, apart from that everything was very good.

The apartment was in a prime location, amenities within a small walking distance, only 15-20 minutes away from the centre of Tournai. The Apartment was spacious and immaculate. Fred, the host, top marks for his hospitality, always went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Tourist information booklets were graciously provided which came in handy. Overall a 10/10 experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the Tournai area.

De locatie was heel goed en op loopafstand van het centrum. Verder was het appartement schoon en netjes.

We vonden de inrichting erg simpel en mag wat comfortabeler en ook wat leuker ingericht. Ook de badkamer mag een opknapbeurt krijgen.

Super séjour dans un appartement spacieux!

Super séjour dans un bel appartement spacieux! Fred est aux petits soins pour nous, il m'a contacté avant l'arrivée pour s'assurer que tout était clair, et a manifesté sa disponibilité pour toute question pendant le séjour. L'appartement est bien équipé, il y a tout l'essentiel; y compris tout le nécessaire dans la salle de bain (essuis et gant de toilette pour la douche, ce qui fait gagner de la place dans la valise), il y a même un cable usb-c, ce que j'ai trouvé super comme idée! Les différentes barres sur les murs de la salle de bain sont bien utiles pour éviter de glisser! Le système pour récupérer la clé de manière indépendante via le boîtier sécurisé est très pratique!

Ce sont vraiment des petits détails qui ne remettent en rien mon appréciation pour mon séjour: il serait bien d'avoir du sucre en poudre (en plus du sucre en morceau) dans la cuisine et des prises (accessibles) à côté des lits. La salle de bain est plutôt étroite mais je comprends qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à faire, à part abattre le mur pour le remettre plus loin.
