Lovely French Countryside at the Edge of a Beautiful Forest

We've really enjoyed staying at Natalie and Frank's house. It's very nicely decorated, has all the possible appliances one could wish for and the location is perfect. There are plenty of very good cycling rides and walks around. It is situated in a a lovely French village at the edge of a beautiful forest. Natalie has been super friendly and helpful. We hope to come back again!

Tout était parfait. Le parking L'emplacement. L'espace intérieur. L'aménagement et l'équipement Les petites attentions Le jardin même si en hiver on en profite pas vraiment, le chien lui était content. J'ai adoré l'agencement de la salle d'eau original et pratique.

Prévoir un balai serpillère (ou alors je ne l'ai pas trouvé 😅) pour pouvoir faire le ménage comme il se doit, au vu de la surface difficile de le faire à quatre pattes. Manque un peu de lumière notamment à l'entrée, prévoir une lampe à poser ?, D'un côté c'est reposant mais peut être un peu juste quand besoin de voir clair ( ou alors c'est parce qu'on devient vieux 😆)

Bellissima casa ma dettagli essenziali da migliorare

Tipica casa di campagna restaurata con cura, spaziosa e ben arredata. Posto silenzioso ideale per rilassarsi. Abbiamo dormito benissimo. Check-in semplice in autonomia (siamo arrivati di notte). Riscaldamento ben funzionante. Parcheggio ampio a fianco alla casa

Il basso livello di pulizia. Piatti sporchi. Polvere. Lenzuoli e asciugamani a pagamento. Un solo asciugamano a persona. Consiglio di sostituire o togliere la porta tra le due camere. Fa un rumore incredibile degno di un film horror

Pech door een kapotte kachel

Het huisje was gezellig qua sfeer en de keuken goed ingericht. We zijn met onze honden op de vlucht gegaan voor het vuurwerk en daar was dit een behoorlijk goede plek voor (al hoorde we met oud en nieuw in België, dat heel dichtbij ligt wel wat).

We hadden heel veel pech met de kachel. De palletkachel die het huis grotendeels moest verwarmen bleef veel rook uitstoten waardoor alles ging stinken en we allemaal gingen hoesten. De kachel viel ook steeds uit. Het was er of heel koud of juist warm. De eigenaar kwam wel steeds langs bij klachten. Toen de kachel echt helemaal kapot ging werd het huis eindelijk prettig verwarmd door de airco-systemen. Wat goed is om te weten is dat de slaapkamers extreem gehorig zijn. Er zijn geen volledige wanden en de vloer kraakt enorm. Dat geeft ongemak met slapen. Ook waren er nogal kuilen in het matras.
