    We arrived late afternoon only to be told they couldn't find our booking. Luckily we had paper confirmation and persisted with our request for a room and eventually they manually inputting our booking and gave us a room which smelled of cigarettes. Apparently it was our fault because we had booked and paid for a room months in advance. This exact situation had happened to us with another of the garner hotels 4 days earlier only they transferred us to another hotel. I would never recommend dealing with the Garner hotel group in Hamburg.

    The hotel was good, nice staff, clean functional room, great breakfast buffet. Very close to the Hbf but there were lots of homeless hanging around outside hotel, didn't feel safe at night.

    Located three minutes walk to the train station. Our breakfast was included with a lot of options.

    Being close to the Central Train Station this hotel is situated in a lively area also at night. This was probably predictable. What was less predicted when we stayed was that all the other rooms on our floor were actively being renovated. Great for the next guests, I hope., but a clear detriment to our experience.
