Great staff! The staff smiled and were genuinely welcoming. Justin and Apollo made us feel at home. Any query was quickly and professionally addressed. I had some concerns about noise, but the double glazing and location of our room made a good night’s sleep a certainty, something very important to me. The room was compact but adequate, in good repair and very clean. The bathroom had sufficient shelf space for our own items. The water in the shower was hot, and the wall mounted heater allowed us to have dry towels, something we really relish. The breakfast included in the price was extensive. We even had the choice of a coffee machine with multiple options, or filtered coffee, which was very good.

I missed a second chair in the bedroom, so that I had to sit on the bed to read - though I did manage this quite well.

The staff were very nice to us. We had booked a room for the night after we arrived, but they let us transfer the booking. Much appreciated!

It was a bit noisy at times, but that’s what you get near a main railway station.

The room has big up space so feeling like live in a huge room although the actual footage is normal. The hotel is 300m from central station and 1.5mil from city hall, making it very convenient.

Good location and clean roomy guest room.

The room itself was clean and relatively quiet when the window was closed. Generous check-out time at 12:00.

We arrived ten minutes before check-in time but were told to return in 20 minutes, no possibility to enter the room early. When we returned there was a long line and we had to wait for 30 minutes. The room had no facilities, only a hairdryer and a single plastic cup. No kettle or coffee machine. When we arrived in our rooms, it turned out that this side of the hotel was being renovated both at the exterior and the rooms next to us. This meant that every day, there were workers on the scaffolding right outside our room's window. The room had no air-conditioning, so we had to either live with the noise and the workers looking inside, or the heat of the small room. There was also construction noise from the work being done in the other room next to us. The area outside the hotel is very dodgy, it is dirty and there are many homeless people hanging around the hotel and the neighbourhood. It did not feel safe.
