A beautiful property, we stayed in the family room, it was clean and bright with direct access to a patio and the beautiful garden and pool. It was lovely and peaceful, a short walk from the free ferry into the city.
Luc was absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. There was a stock of wines, beers and soft drinks to purchase which was fantastic and the breakfast was superb, lovely fresh pastries, bread, jam, marmalade, cheese and eggs. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location just outside Avignon. Quiet and peaceful.
Each room had a private outside terrace and there was access to a huge pool, poolhouse and sunbeds in the garden.
Luc and Kathy provide an honesty bar with cold drinks and a freezer full of ice creams etc in the poolhouse. Wine is available to purchase from local suppliers.
Breakfast in the gazebo was exceptional as was Luc's scrambled eggs.
Luc was an outstanding host and we enjoyed meeting him.
Lastly, we were able to bring our dog Stanley!!
Thoroughly enjoyable stay - thank you.
Our room was small, especially when travelling with a large dog! But this isn't really a criticism and would certainly not stop us staying again and again.

The facilities were fantastic, the room was lovely and perfect for us both, but most importantly Kathy and Luke went above and beyond for us. They were so kind and friendly.
Nothing - everything was fabulous.

Host was really helpful, interesting and warm. The breakfast and table d’hôte were all delicious. We loved having the bikes to use.
Nothing. It was all first class.

Luc was a nice host. Breakfast was good. The pool was a bonus because of the heat wave. Experienced living like a French local briefly.

Lovely breakfasts in the gazebo Luc and Kathy hosts were very helpful Being on the island felt remote but it wasn’t. Easy to free ferry to Avignon 1.5 km walk Super swimming pool for the very hot weather Luc is also a great chef.
Needed somewhere to dry wet towels

The breakfast was lovely and served under a gazebo in a beautiful setting . We also one night took advantage of an evening meal that was carefully prepared by Luc and was delicious. Highly recommend
Liked everything, nothing to not like

A little gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Avignon but close enough to visit easily.

Excellent hosts, always available with helpful information. Great breakfast every day and we had dinner one night, which was also excellent. The Mas was like a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Avignon, but at the same time Avignon was easily accessible - you can walk into the centre in 35-40 minutes, or you can walk 15 minutes to a free little ferry across the Rhone and then it's just a 5-minute walk into Avignon from the pontoon (but note the ferry only operated until 18:15 when we visited in May). We also appreciated the spacious secure private parking at the Mas.

The property is located just on the outskirts of Avignon, away from the old city in a quiet area close to the river. Luke the owner was very helpful in providing information and recommending restaurants and places to visit. There was plenty of parking and the property had large garden in the front and at the back with a swimming pool, though it was too cold to be outdoors.
Nothing really, the only recommendation would be to have the keycode accessible by car from outside (like inside the property), so one does not have to get out of the car to key in the code to open the gate.

Our room was spacious and comfortable for the 3 of us. Luc made breakfast and dinner both days we were there. The food was outstanding! Luc is quite the chef! The wine they offer is also better than expected. We will definitely return.
Nothing!

Breakfast was delicious! Also, we paid for the hosts to prepare dinner two nights. The service, quality of the food, ambiance and presentation were excellent! There is ample parking and it is a lovely quiet location.

The pool was wonderful and the owner was really friendly and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and vineyards to visit. It’s a beautiful location.
The room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom.

We loved the pool. We also loved that a fridge with cold drinks was provided near the pool. Breakfast in the gazebo was delightful. Luc was a wonderful host.
A little further from the centre than we had thought.

Quiet area with a pool and outdoor cafe style breakfast. We arranged for dinner after a long travel day and a gourmet meal was served. Breakfasts were great and included pastries, home made yogurt, made to order eggs and coffee and espresso. Luc provided a dinner recommendation in town that was one of our best meals in France. Overall excellent host and very accommodating to our family of five.

Friendly and helpful owner. Fresh local breakfast. Big and almost private terasse.

Great location out of the main town area, so with a country feel yet close enough to get to Avignon and surrounds easily. Lovely large grounds and relaxing atmosphere. Luc & Kathy were superb hosts, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner one night which was excellent.
The pool needs some attention as water was quite cloudy, so the water PH level etc needs to be balanced properly. Would have liked a swim, but didn’t look that inviting.

The host Luke was great, very friendly and hospitable
The shower head water pressure was a little weak and hot water could have been more consistent. Otherwise everything else was superb

We used this fine B&B as a starting point for car trips in the area. Easy access to highways. The inn had a great bathroom and comfy bed. Large breakfast included. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We had an exceptional experience - the property was beautiful, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and the room was very spacious with a huge bathroom (we had the room at the front of the property on the right). The pool was clean, well maintained with a fridge full of drinks for a very good price! We had a late check in and the host was very helpful with ensuring we got in safely. Breakfast was also delicious! Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting the area
Would recommend car or bicycle as taxis were a little expensive (15 euro each way)

Lovely old stone house tucked away on a peaceful property.
It could have been much cleaner.

We could not have chosen better. The Mas de l'Île is only a short distance from Avignon but it feels like it is in rural France. The hosts really made us really welcome and gave us lots of advice about where to go during our stay. It was specially hot during our stay so the pool was most welcome. Cold drinks are always available from the fridge by the pool on an honesty basis for 1€ each, pay on departure. Breakfast is served in the outside gazebo/tunnel to your order, it is really good and sets you up for the day. The hosts and the other guests were so friendly that we were sad to leave in the end. We highly recommend the Mas de l'Île
Not a criticism of the accommodation but trips into Avignon have to be planned because they involve a trip across the Rhône on a free ferry. You need to be mindful of the time of the last ferry and this precludes dining in Avignon unless you take a car or call a taxi. Happily there is a very nice restaurant on the island by the ferry

lovely setting and rooms.
nice pool area very relaxing and fridge filled with small waters and beers all at €1 each 😄
host very helpful with lots of recommendations
breakfast could be a bit more varied
our room wasn’t serviced on one the days

Amazing hosts, breakfast, facilities and location. The pool is sunny all day and there’s a fridge and bar area for your food and drink. Breakfast was delicious, we had fresh bread, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, jam, fruit and fresh orange juice. They even have bikes that you can borrow to visit Avignon and Villeneuve-lès-Avignon.
We were using public transport but we’re able to get a taxi to and from the place with luggage, then a nice stroll in to Avignon in the evening
nothing, all perfect

Hosts, Luc and Kathy, were friendly and always welcoming. Pool, patio, and yard were a very nice bonus. Breakfast was very well done.
More light in bedroom, and a double bed would have been perfect.

The hosts was kind and helpful, the area was surrounded by nature, a perfect place to be away from the city for a while. Host also provided with bikes, 10-15 mins to Avignon city, also a good way to enjoy the Rhone when the weather is nice.
No complains.

The location is only accessible by car, but there was ample space for parking. Our room was large and the bathroom was nearly the same size.
It was unseasonably cold when we arrived and it took a full day for our room to heat to a comfortable temperature and only one extra blanket was provided. The host greeted us when we came in but was hard to find when needed. The power went out one evening and we couldn't leave the compound because the gate was electric. It was 3C (34F) with no power or heat, couldn't leave, and the host did not come to check on us once during the outtage. Breakfast was sparse - bread basket with jam, coffee or tea, and a piece of fruit.

We liked the comfortable bed, the bedroom itself, plus the quiet surroundings. Breakfast was great. Walking distance from Avignon, if you prefer not to drive to the town. We did not use the swimming pool though. Hosts have drinks available in a fridge on the shed next to the swimming pool. Perfect location for summer holidays! We definitely enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts. Free, spacious parking.
