We were 2 family members travelling together, and had a comfortable night. We had brought our own breakfast but were welcomed in the dining room for a coffee, which they were happy to offer. Thank you.
We couldn't find the 'hotel'. It's not a hotel. It's a spare room rented out in an aged person's home. This wasn't made clear, so we drove around the complex of large, matching apartment blocks in the dark, as 8pm approached and the front desk would close. We got there after sending a 'help' message directly to the 'hotel' as messages sent through Booking.com hadn't got through. We arrived as the desk was being shut down, given the keys and were thankful for finding them.

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and quiet.
It is the first time I rate a place with one star, but our experience was really bad. Despite we asked for blankets, only the blanket for one bed was delivered. When we called to ask for blankets for the other beds, they told us that they could only bring them the following day. We had to sleep dressed and we felt really cold.
The only blanket was dirty. The apartment was smelly. The breakfast was super basic. The reception spoke only French and made no effort to understand us.
Terrible management and experience.

+ very clean modern spacious 1 bedroom appartement. You feel like in a small house.
+ wifi worked good
+ staff very friendly and helpfull
+ with roller shutter system you keep it cool from the sun (it was 35+ degree)
+ Its senior citizen centre so dont be surprised if you have contact with any of them
- location was more far from avignon than we expected
- address seems not correct on google (june-2022)
- no AC on hot days was really a miss

Big bedrooms with modern furniture
There was not air conditioning, only a small fan that was not enlugh to cool down the bedroom. A modern place like this one should have had airco.

Not easy to reach

I didn’t like anything.
Worst place ever. They’re actually renting out vacant rooms from the senior’s residence.
No aircon. Terrible view. Works and noise starting from 7 am. I feel sorry for the elderly people facing this everyday.
Unwelcoming service, facilities and people.

To be honest the only thing was good that we found it. As my French isn’t too good it took us quite a while to find it with the instructions of the help desk with English and French as her English was worse than my French.
The rooms were rather equipped like hospital rooms and not cozy at all, the light flicked in the hall and the area smelt awkward

The apartment is clean and spacious with cooking utensils and a small fridge.
1. DO NOT book this apartment if you need AC!There's NO AC(air conditioner) but plenti of heaters. This is a huge problem in a hot summer with temperature at 30C and nighttime at 28C, but I didn't see any comment mentioning this. 2. The light on the hallway outside of the room, as well as the light in the living room is malfunctioning and flashing like those in a very old, broken haunted house. Check The image and the room I lived was in the dark end of the hallway. 3. There is a construction site next the house and it was very noisy in the morning.

It's a new development and the address does not appear on GPS. It took us a moment to find the place. It is a little far from the centre.

The room was big and comfortable. The area very quiet.
The sheets were not clean. The breakfast was very poor with few choices.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment..
Excellent value for the price we paid.
This is not an apparthotel but a newly built residence for the elderly. The empty apartments are being rented until they become occupied. Consequently, there is no sign on the building which makes it difficult to find.
For a new building, the sound insulation is terrible !
Lack of equipment in the kitchen. No oven, toaster, coffee machine etc.
Curtain pole hanging off the wall !

Nice, spacious, clean appartment in a new elderly residence which was apparently not yet fully booked with residents. Very friendly staff. We stayed over the weekend where all was calm. Facing a big construction site it got louder on Monday morning, view was to this site. Gratis parking, easy driving distance to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Uzès, Villeneuve les Avignon… Incredibly good value for little money. We would come back if we came to the region again.

premises should be described as seniors accommodation and not apart/hotel,extremely hard to find and in the middle of a building site.very disappointed with booking .com .will have to check their places more thoroughly in future.

We liked the combination of a hotel and a care home....unusual...but its a reallly interesting comination,as we got speaking to sme older residents, which was rather nice.
I guess aircon OR a fan would have been useful at night,as it was very hot in Avignon during our stay.36c

+ very modern
+ very friendly stuff
- construction site in front (but good isolated windows)
- it's in a senior residence home (what's fine, just should be mentioned)
3.0 / 10.0
The staff was nice, comprehensive and helpful.
I gave an additional star from what I planned for their efforts, like providing fans and being overall understanding.
Where should we start ... this is on the top 3 of our worst stays since we started travelling a bit more than a decade ago.
- horrible air conditions: So we spent 4 nights over there, by an outside temperature of 36 degrees. The apartment has no air conditioning, and one of the worst isolation we experienced in a modern building. The balcony exposed south, and built only with metallic parts and concrete, created an additional unwanted heating all day long, that kept spreading at night. There's no natural air circulation, even with opening the entry door, so the 26- 27° of the night are not coming in the flat. We dealt the whole stay with 31 - 32°, even at night.
- false excuses: RE 2012 is summoned as a false excuse for no air conditioning. How about the investors start to build with sustainability in head, with smart orientation, with sustainable material, with natural ventilation, with good isolation, instead of blaming on RE 2012 for the terrible room experience and cheap building conception?
- health hazard: the temperature was so high and constant that my wife fainted 2 times. We're shocked and concerned that elderly people are "taken care of" in such facility where they need to buy their own air conditioning.
- very little kitchen amenities: you're provided with less than minimal amenities, the pan is ridiculously small, the fridge equally ridiculous, and the freezer had our ice cream melted in 1 day. No kettle, no coffee machine... etc ... We asked for a kettle, that was in seriously bad conditions.
- unconvenient bathroom: the bathroom has less than minimal equipment. There's a shower, a sink, and toilets, and that's it. There's no spot to put your bags, or anything really. We had an end of toilet paper when arriving and no replacement. The air in the bathroom is bad and there's smells coming back up, that became hard to stand with the heat.
We wanted to cancel after the first night, sadly everything was booked out.

Modern spacious room, kitchen, bathroom, friendly stafff
It was a bit difficult to find as Google map shows
a construction site opposite of the hotel which
is the same building with a retirement home.

Doors closed when we got there and no one around. Same when we left. We didn’t u derstand what sort of place it was. Seems to be an old peoples home. Location very remote.

No air conditioning. We did not sleep much

Friendly stuff
It was impossible to sleep due to the heat in the apartment. We knew there was no air conditioning but we did not expect that the apartment is on the top floor and the ceiling was radiating heat 24/24hours. We slept with all windows opened but at 6-7am we had to close them because of the NOISE from the CONSTRUCTION SITE right in front of our balcony. So no proper rest for all 4 nights.
Breakfast was really poor (1 bread, 1 small butter, 1 small jam/honey capsule, 1 croissant , 1 cup of coffee), the same every morning.
There were weird sounds at night, probably from the wheelchairs of the neighbours (it's a senior residence)
We ran out of shower gel in the last night and there was no one at the reception to ask for more.
No hair dryer in the room, we had to ask for one at the reception ( we were told that there's only one for all guests and we had to return it every day).
Only one bedside table (we used a chair) and light, only one socket near the bed.

once we were guided to the property, staff were friendly and everything was fine. it was good to have booked the underground garage.
very difficult to find. The address given in the Booking.com instructions was incorrect.. the Satnav and Google GPS were both unable to find either that address or the address later given to us by the property. There were no signposts to the property and the hotel name was not visible on the frontage.
This is a new venture, not fully bedded in yet. once we were guided to the property, and once we had sorted out a couple of glitches from previous contacts, everything was fine.

nothing!
we did not stay! complained to Booking.com and no response! not offered help for alternative accommodation. not as advertised- was part of an seniors retirement home! also no name signage - only found it after an hour of driving around and finally walking in to ask if we were in the right place!

The staff was really nice, kind and helpful. Price was also ok
This is not an Apart-hotel, it is a resisence for old people living there with some unused rooms for tourists. Nothing against old people, but the real nature of this place must be specified, but it is not. Also, it has a different name and this makes things difficult for finding the place. They send you a message with all specifications for how to get there, but the real name of the place (which would really make things easier) is not specified neither in the private message. For this reason guests might feel really tricked.
No air conditioning, but it is not specified in the services, so ok.
Double bed was really small.
Again, the only real positive thing was the kindness of the staff, very nice… both the lady and the guy, always smiling and ready to help you.

Apartment was fine - clean etc and staff were friendly and helpful.
Would have been good to know in advance that the apparat me too was in an Senior Living block. Also, there was no sign, so finding the place was a nightmare.

I really like this accomodation, clean, new, nice staff. Just difficult to findit, because it is new. If you are looking for this place, go to Stella residence and it is there.
