Perfect overnight stay - will be back

Great location for walking around the town - off street parking was great if a little tight for my big car 😁 very comfortable rooms and breakfast in the garden was lovely - just hit the right spot! Sorry we only stayed one night and therefore didn’t use the pool. Charming hosts.

Rustic Auberge Getaway Outside Avignon

Hôtel La Suite is an auberge-style, owner-operated hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary rustic style, complemented by a collection of contemporary art throughout the property. Rooms come with modern bathrooms, a fully stocked minibar, and reliable air conditioning — nice touches that make the stay more comfortable. The hotel is car-friendly, with parking for six cars at the rear and a convenient bag drop-off at the front. Breakfast is tasty, though it’s just as easy to eat out in the town. There’s also a small bar, which closes at 8pm; for later drinks, the town centre is nearby. Directly opposite is a former Carthusian Monastery, now a museum and art centre — definitely worth a visit. The location is excellent: not in the bustle of Avignon’s centre, but in a charming town just a 30-minute walk away. The town has a good choice of restaurants, bars, and antique shops, though it may feel a little quiet if you’re after lively nightlife. No photos to share, but overall, I can highly recommend Hôtel La Suite and would happily stay again.

Bar closes too early at 8pm, but it's not a big issue.

Charming hotel and relaxing stay!

Unique, artsy decor in the hotel, very beautiful pool and garden. Great for relaxing and getting some relief from the heat. Location is wonderful, lots of lovely dining options nearby. The hotel owners/ operators were pleasant. Bedding and bath products felt high quality.

Lovely place to stay

Charming hotel, perfectly located in pretty Villeneuve les Avignons. Lovely outdoor patio and nice pool which provided a much needed place to cool off after sightseeing.

For the price the hotel's bathroom facilities could have been better - dim lighting, tiny bottles of shower gel and shampoo (no conditioner), towels rather thin and rough

Great place to stay in a quiet part of the Avignon area. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was beautiful and quiet. The rooms were spacious and bright. The hosts were very helpful in answering our questions about the area. We enjoyed the option of a light or more complete breakfast.

My room did not offer a coffee maker, which would have been nice (and expected).

Relaxing and very comfortable!!

Breakfast in the garden was delightful, gardens were beautiful and room was spacious and proprietors upgraded us to a suite. Villeneuve is a beautiful village with a gentle buzz in the centre. The hotel is perfectly placed in the historic centre . The owners and staff were very attentive without being overbearing. We also met some nice people also staying in the hotel

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and we would most certainly return

Decor, art, staff friendliness and location. Car parking also fine. The perfume of the hotel is exceptional and is the first thing you notice on entry to the reception. Even the hand sanitisers smell of lavender.

There was very little we didn't like about this hotel. It was wonderful. If I were being picky, I would say that the absence of a personnel lift, but I must emphasise that this was not an issue for us. It would only be an problem for guests with mobility issues.

Superb

Great location to lots of lovely restaurants and a short walk to the bus for Avignon. Perfect for exploring the region. Wonderful outdoor space and pool area. Perfect size for couples to relax after a day out. Exceptionally clean room with stylish interior.

Could have had breakfast at hotel for extra 12 euros each which is very expensive as you could do a short walk to get it for half the price.

Relaxing, welcoming and perfect location

Our stay at Hotel la suite was perfect. We were in between two french weddings and wanted somewhere to relax, but also enjoy some good food and a little site seeing. We stayed for 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Stephen and Sophie were perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome. Stephen made such an effort with speaking English, and it was much better than our french. We really enjoyed the relaxed breakfasts here and also the nibbles outside early evening. The hotel is decorated beautifully and our room (C) was comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning is excellent. A lot of care and money has been spent in making this hotel so fantastic. The pool area was peaceful and the location is excellent for many small but excellent restaurants - Flo’s were excellent as well as Moulin la Huille and L’emulsion (thank you to Stephen for this recommendation). Also a perfect spot for visiting the monastery and fort. It took us a lovely 35 minute walk to get into Avignon - busy but definitely worth a visit. Wonderful shops and site seeing. There is also a bus that runs from Villeneuve. Thank you Stephen and Sophie - we hope to return! Finlay & Katie x

Quite relaxing small hotel in the most beautiful village

Beautiful garden and pool, room was a good size and it was overall a beautiful property with lots of personal touch.

The check in was a little rushed, but I think that was due to the explanation that the wife was on holidays :-)

Fabulous retreat

A great place to relax and feel at home. Loved the fact that we could make the garden our office and jump into the pool when it got too hot. Great artwork. Liked the creative cleaning lady too. Did an excellent job and put a smile on our faces.

The hotel is like an art gallery, beautifully decorated. The owners are adorable, traveled (great conversations!) and make everyone feel welcomed. The pool and the garden are beautiful, you feel at peace, relaxed.

Eclectic boutique hotel with personable service

Eclectic interior design, every room has its own personality. Quiet, comfortable room with air conditioning which was necessary in the August heat. Great little garden and pool, breakfast on the terrace. Personable service, good advice on restaurants and places to visit.

Very limited wardrobe space. Our room was on the ground floor with a window to the street so had to keep the curtains drawn all the time. The walk to the Avignon centre is doable (about 2,5km) but partly on busy streets with a lot of traffic.

I proprietari di casa sono stati molto cordiali; Steve è stato gentilissimo, ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni per il soggiorno ed è stato disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Abbiamo trovato pioggia e lui è stato così gentile da fornirci anche degli ombrelli ben fatti. La colazione era completa e ben preparata. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole visitare Aix-en-Provence e l’entroterra

Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Ligging uitstekend om de mooie omgeving te ontdekken. Rustige omgeving van het hotel met wat verderop een gezellig pleintje met verschillende mogelijkheden om iets te eten. Eenvoudig maar lekker ontbijt door charmante heer bediend. Dit is een klein en gezellig hotel waar je tot rust komt. Wie op zoek is naar geen doorsnee hotel is hier op de juiste plaats ! Er is parking bij het hotel .

Un havre de paix proche d’Avignon

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet établissement plein de charme. La chambre, spacieuse et joliment décorée, a su garder son caractère authentique tout en offrant un excellent confort, notamment une literie de grande qualité. Le calme des lieux est très appréciable, tout comme la belle piscine, agréable à toute heure de la journée. Le petit déjeuner servi à table est excellent, avec des produits de qualité. L’accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. Autre atout : la navette pour Avignon est accessible à pied en seulement 6 minutes. Une petite perle que nous recommandons vivement !
