Country refuge from life with warm welcome

Wonderful walk up the lake and quick swim. Magic. Made friends too! We hadn't realised how far we would be from a restaurant but our hosts set up vegan meals that were delicious and healthy. Thank you so much! Friendly welcome. Pure joy

Peaceful haven

A lovely guest house and restaurant in a peaceful rural location, just a few km from Spittal. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. A secure park was found for my bicycle.

For a cycle tourist, loaded up and with no electric assistance, it's a good workout getting up the hill! But well worth it once you get there. 😊

Overall pretty good and the grandpa there treat us very nicely.

Very nice atmosphere, the host is very nice and they are very caring!

It smells a bit because of the kitchen, would be more to be isolated. Also the towers are kinda stinky haha please wash it properly :)

We enjoyed being a bit higher up in the mountains. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony.

We would have preferred a double bed instead of 2 single beds, which was a bit more uncomfortable, but still good.

Mountain Inn experience like from a fantasy tale

When I arrived I got welcomed by who I think the owner was. Very positive man, good vibes from him. Immediately he asked whether I was interested in something to eat and then the food was served in minutes. The room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The view over the mountains was stunning and let's not forget the route to the inn, perfect with the motorcycle!

Wasn't really anything that I didn't like. Maybe the check-out times could be a little bit later.

Modernized rooms in old classical Austrian inn. Staff very open-minded and flexible, with a typical Austrian way-of-life-attitude: very sympathic!

Organisation of reception a little chaotic - similar to the room keys which were partially missing due to guests not giving them back. However, this was well in line with the attitude mentioned above: Austrian-type ;-)

Superb

Beautiful place with very nice views, nearby lake for an amazing evening swim and very cozy atmosphere. The owners were very nice and welcoming, and the dog very cute! Comfortable rooms with a nice small balcony. Good breakfast, maybe a bit overpriced. This was our first stop in a bike trip and the climb up was tough but very much worth it!

You could hear quite some noises from other guests in the room.

High above the Drau valley, close to the beautiful Egelsee

Lug-ins-Land has a perfect location. Once you manage to get there you have a nice view of the Drau valley and the beautiful Egelsee is just a few minutes away, a nice walk and a perfect opportunity for a swim. The staff was very friendly. Kids really enjoyed the trampoline and the rabbits in the garden. Food was also very good.

The bed matress was a bit too soft, for a good night sleep I prefer a harder one supporting the back.

I was hoping to have some contact with the farm animals, but they were hidden and there was no program for interacting with them. Like milking a cow or watching how they do it. Riding horses was not possible.

Perfect stay!

A great place in the middle of nature, very cozy and rustic. The rooms were comfortable and the owners extremely nice and friendly. Good breakfast, plenty of things to visit around and the ski area and grocery stores are close by. Definitely recommend it!

Grosses Zimmer mit Balkon, Sitzecke und Kochnische. Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine. Voll eingerichtet. Ausreichend Parkfläche. Sehr gutes Preis - Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Der Weg dort hinauf ist abenteuerlich, aber es lohnt sich.

Fijn verblijf een overnachting op doorreis of renovatie nachten

Vrij eenvoudige maar mooie en gezellige kleinschalige locatie hoog in de bergen. Je kunt er pijl en boogschieten en er staan paarden. Farm-feeling, vonden wij erg leuk! Vriendelijk personeel! Eten eenvoudig maar prima. Een klein keukentje op de kamer met koelkast en föhn was aanwezig.

De weg er naartoe kan een uitdaging zijn, 2 auto’s kunnen elkaar niet passeren, te smal en steil omhoog. Halverwege staat er een bordje met de tekst: Vanaf hier kunt u niet meer terug. De bedden kraken enorm.
