Nice stopover in Spittal with a Mexican taste

Clean, quiet, welcoming staff, easy to find and park, kitchen open in the Mexican restaurant. I really enjoyed my staying

Quirky and excellent night stay

Good size and very clean accommodation with excellent coffee machine. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely ensuite with large shower. Very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Suggestion: breakfast was good but it would have been nice to know what was included. Someone was eating pancakes but these where not offered at the buffet. No hot food was offered.

Clean, nicely decorated room. Nice personell, specially the man serving the breakfast was friendly. Drinks and burger at the restaurant well made and tasty.

It was clearly offseason. I arrived too early, and i thought i could leave my luggage to some storage or luggage room, and come later to check in. Unfortunately, i hadn't realised that i should have asked that in advance. There was no one at the reception, i rang the bell, called to the number given in the reception and had no answer. I even visited the empty restaurant to find someone. After i had tried a half an hour to reach someone, i gave up and walked back to the train station to leave my luggage there.

The town itself is great and the typical Austrian nature is within reach if you stay somewhere in this town.

-OK, ... how to start... we asked for a room for 3 specifically stating we have a child with us. - I love Austria and the level of hotels and hostels in Austria is very high, I know it from pers.experience. - it was shown that there is a possibility to get a small bed or a portable add on within our offer ... HOWEVER WHEN WE GOT there , they just informed us that our room is very small and that it is not possible to put a child's bed there. No other rooms were available, they said. When I pay the required amount and I state specifically that we have a child with us /in advance/ , I do expect I will get a bed for the child. We three slept on the double bed, bumping in one another all the time and I basically did not sleep since I did not wish to risk crushing my son /he is almost 4 y old/ - The reception desk is absurd in the physical meaning of the word- it is just a small tall table barely enough for the PC and it is located in the bar, so it is not a real reception. Clients of the bar and busy waiters are there all the time and I block them OR they bump into me. I find it really peculiar - i.e. not having a real reception is not normal in my view. Even hostels have better receptions. And I saw that a waiter who was doing something else had to accept my papers and give me the keys which is stupid, since he has other work obviously. All of this was done at the entrance of the bar. -In the morning we went to have breakfast and we found out /together with the other guests / that there was no bread. It came later and they said that the car broke down... I was in a hurry since I was about to start travelling to another country and I had no time. - There are spider webs everywhere in the room. This means they do not care about the level of cleaning in the rooms.

Super Wellnessbereich, wenn geöffnet

Super Lage, wunderschöne Gegend, viele Freizeitangebote und sehr nettes Mexican Design. Die Wellness Area ist der absolute Wahnsinn, wenn sie geöffnet hat.

Leider war mir nicht bewusst, da das nicht besonders eindeutig kommuniziert wurde, dass ausgerechnet am Sonntag der Wellnessbereich geschlossen ist. Da die Sauna einer der Hauptgründe war, warum ich mein Wochenende gerade in dieser Unterkunft verbringen wollte, war das ein bisschen unangenehm. Auch meine erste Anfrage dazu wurde einfach ignoriert. Das hätte nicht sein müssen.

Bei der Ankunft war der Chef sehr ungehalten weil ich den falschen Eingang benutzte! Das Wc stand im Zimmer ohne eine Abdeckung !

Lage gut und zentral, Frühstück an 2 Tagen unterschiedlich ...?!?

Ich war schon öfters dort, die Qualität hat abgenommen ... Zimmer mit eiskaltem Boden ohne Teppich, der Toper durchgelegen... Parkplatz wieder mal von Tagesgästen und Personal besetzt, auf Nachfrage beim Chef persönlich wurde das Privatfahrzeug dann weggestellt, damit man parken konnte.

DAs Frühstück war sehr gut.

Die Zimmer sind immer gut geheizt, In der Zwischensaison muss man immer erst durchlüften. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig ist der Check In Automat. Man fühlt sich sehr anonym. Das war früher doch schöner. Ausserdem waren viele Gäste irritiert durch die Trennung von Restaurant und Hotel....( ich habe einige Mit-Gäste getroffen, die auf der Suche nach dem mexikanischen Restaurant durch der Ort gelaufen sind ( es war leider Montag).

Etappe auf dem Alpe-Adria-Radweg gut beendet

Zimmer sehr schön und modern. Fahrrad in einer separaten Hütte gut untergebracht. Mit hohen Fahrradständern, sodass sie sicher angekettet werden können. Nachts werden sie zusätzlich eingeschlossen. Frühstücksbuffet super. Incl. selbstgemachte Müslis,super lecker. Check-in am Automaten funktioniert gut.

Schade, dass man nicht jeden Tag die Sauna benutzen kann. Wir konnten sie nicht ausprobieren und hatten uns auf unsrer Radetappe darauf gefreut. Den Gutschein für das Restaurant konnten wir auch nicht einlösen, da es geschlossen war.

Die Zimmer sind sehr außergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Aber alles vorhanden. Sehr gut habe ich auch die Kaffemaschine am Zimmer empfunden. Frühstück war megamäßig. Sehr vielfältig! Sehr große Auswahl. Es wurde gefragtt, ob man Eier oder frisch gepressten O-Saft möchte. Check in problemlos und Personal ausgesprochen nett. Auch im mexikanischen Restaurant am Abend sehr gut gegessen zu einem guten Preis.

Man muß sich bewusst sein, dass man nur über Stiegen in die Zimmer kommt. (außer ich hätte den Aufzug nicht gefunden)

Tolles Schlafzimmer 👍🙏🌝🚲

Selbst spät abends noch alles geklappt, Fahrrad sicher abgestellt, Kleingeld getauscht. Suite mit Badewanne und Balkon. Super Abstellraum für Radfahrer, könnte in der Saison fast zu klein sein. 🤔👍🚲 Super Frühstück, alles vorhanden.

Persönlich gefällt mir die weiche Bettmatratze nicht so sehr.

Der Besitzer war extrem kulant und freundlich. Checkin hat vorzeitig geklappt, den Checkout eine halbe Stunde zu verzögern, war auch kein Problem. Die Wellnesslandschaft fiel etwas kleiner aus als angenommen. Das Frühstück war deutlich schlechter als auf der Homepage angekündigt. Ein Ei gab es nie, nur ein bis zwei Sorten Käse, die angekündigte Trinkschokolade gab es nicht und so weiter; dies entsprach nicht dem Standard eines solchen Hauses. Das Bett war hervorragend, das Badezimmer großzügig und wunderschön. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig gelegen.

Sono stata bene ma a parità di prezzo in altre strutture ho ricevuto servizi maggiori e migliori.La colazione era buona ma a parità di prezzo ho trovato buffet migliori. Il check in è da fare in autonomia e automatico, da una parte è comodo ma dall'altra non c'è mai nessuno alla reception. Se si arriva prima non c'è una stanza dove appoggiarsi per potersi cambiare...
