Great breakfast, lovely view from dining room. Very comfortable bed and quiet.
The view from our room was straight onto a roof that needed painting.

The food was great!!
The heating in the room was awesome. Helped a lot with the cold evening.
It was nice to just take a walk on the deck.
The shower situation was a little awkward. Water splashes everywhere. On the toilet, basin and everywhere. The water also doesn’t flow to the drain properly. It flows outward of the shower and there was nothing to dry the floor with.
The TV situation also wasn’t great. I understand weather affects DSTV, but having smart tvs or other means for guests to stream using their login details on the various streaming apps would be cool.

Some of the staff were still friendly and the room was comfortable
Jayden specifically was terrible to interact with. he interacted with everyone at the pool, one group saw him twice while we got no help from him. When I asked him about it he started saying something about our drinks not being finished. And? What if we wanted food? Needed help with the umbrella? Needed water?
Not only that, when I wanted a pina colada he just told me that it was finished. When I then said daiquiri he said that was out of stock too and would cost ME more for them to make it from scratch? Excuse me??
What a terrible interaction that left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I've overly romanticised this hotel and wish we never came back so I could still have the happy memories of our first stay.
