The unit we stayed in was spacious / comfortable and offered amenities which made it an enjoyable stay. The breakfast on offer was also very good and the staff were friendly. The property is situated in a tranquil setting. Would definitely recommend this Guest House.

What a fabulous stay! Staff were so accommodating, friendly and completely made me feel at home. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. Fantastic breakfast (well needed after a few wine trams in the local area!). The location is so quiet that you can't help but to relax! Karin went above and beyond making sure I was able to get to and from a local wedding, by recommending a fantastic taxi driver Tyrone. He was so professional, informative and reliable-a must book if you are staying here. I honestly was so sad to leave as it is such a beautiful place with such beautiful people working there- thank you again team for making a solo traveller feel so at home!

Tranquility bliss

We enjoyed the tranquil location. It was so lovely to have breakfast in the garden and enjoy the birds. The rooms were lovely and the bath was a bonus as was the ability to purchase the Foothills wine with an honesty system. Also loved the lakeside walk.

The place was in a beautiful scenic area and was easy to find. The guest house is safe, and I felt secure at all times. The room was warm and cosy, and the food was freshly made and tasty. I will be going back.

I loved it all. Karin who runs the guest house is fabulous and so accommodating. The staff were wonderful. It was so peaceful with sheep, guinea fowl and squirrels running around. Beautiful views. Lovely big pool and comfortable sun loungers. It was a perfect few days to switch off and relax.

Peaceful, beautiful stay

We only stayed one night (should have planned longer!) and arriving on a Sunday afternoon. Karin was there to greet us warmly and gave some good advice about Monday morning traffic that helped us avoid a problem getting to the airport the next day! We stayed in the main house and it's absolutely beautiful, with very comfortable rooms (the beds are amazing). Everything was perfect.

We loved it so much, we stayed again on our way home!

Our 2 stays couldn't have been any better. Karin and her staff took such good care of us and our two rooms/apartments couldn't have been nicer. Our view of the mountains was spectacular and the sheep and their new lambs were such a joy to see and hear. We were treated like we were their family while we were there! Absolutely - STAY HERE!
