I booked the place for my parents, they said the place was beautiful, beautiful greenery and the staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. There is also a restaurant on site so did not have to leave to grab a lovely meal.

The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, and such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding scenery, with the lake and mountains, was absolutely lovely. I especially enjoyed watching the mist roll in over the water in the mornings and simply taking in how quiet and peaceful everything felt. The ducks, birds, and squirrels were a delight to watch and added so much charm to the property.
There was plenty of space for the kids to run around, along with play structures for them to enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very good. The location was also perfect for everything we wanted to do in the Stellenbosch area.

The room was not as nice as in the pictures - very basic. Air conditioner made a noise, the lamp did not work, and pillows were lumpy and flat. The venue itself was much less scenic than what was advertised.
